Food was excellent, prices super reasonable, portions large. My only complaint is it took a really long time to get our food, but it was a Sunday morning and the place was super packed.
Carrying on a Minong staple that goes back 4-5 decades. Wendy's (Nelson's Cafe) has dominated the Minong diner (food) scene for so long that I don't know what town would do without it? For the last 45 years, several restaurants have come and gone, but this place survives on a great short order menu, pleasant quaint atmosphere, many Flo's, Hazel's, and yes Wendy's, and some great pie choices! Insanely good food! We stopped here on our way from Eau Claire to Superior. I would say the food is good enough that I would drive from Eau Claire to eat here again. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere!
