The food was great. I had the fish fried (3 pieces baked cod). Should have an old-fashioned with, but as it was REALLY busy I wanted to make it simple and not go crazy for the bartender. The service was better than average, and I figured it would be better if it was not so busy. Kinda crazy to ask a restaurant NOT to be busy though, right? Pretty much everything on my plate was good, the mashed potatoes were good. If there is anything to complain about, it was the bread roll....
If you have a dog this is a great place to visit! Their outdoor patio is fenced off. The food is “good bar food” and inexpensive (3 lunches with pop and fries were around $35 before tip). Dog-friendly and good eats, what more can you want?!
Came in with a group of about 8 later in the evening on a Tuesday evening - GREAT food, service was good with them being so kind to cut a split order already for us. I do see where it could get loud at certain times so do be aware of that. Would love to come back when the weather is nice & sit on the patio!
