This place is absolutely fantastic. Old school. Great! Great food!. The service was out of this world. Our waitress was full of life, knowledgeable and attentive. I took my friends from out of state here and they too loved it. Highly recommend

My favorite is the pastami on rye, the NEW pastrami on rye had caramel onions and garlic aoli. Wow what a game changer. Chili is still the second best and the patty melt is very good. Been visiting this place, when in town, for over 25 years, loved the old and new changes. Servers are great, they go above and beyond to accommodate customers.

Great place to grab and beer and get some imported cheeses. We did't eat there because we don't eat red meat, and there wasn't many options. It was and enjoy visit. The downtown square was fun to explore also.

Baumgartner's has great cheese, sandwiches and local craft beer. My husband and I visited to enjoy the famous Big Stinky sandwich. We both enjoy limburger cheese on rye with a nice slice of red onion and at Baumgartner's it is a staple. Of course we washed it down with some New Glarus beer. What more could you ask for....it was the most Wisconsin lunch ever. ;-) The atmosphere at Baumgartner's is casual. The staff are friendly and helpful. Need some local cheese, well, as the name indicates Baumgartner's has plenty of local cheese varieties to choose from. I'd definitely comeback the next time I'm in the state. Thank you for a great experience!
