Butch and Amy are active in our community and participate in many events. This is a great place for homemade soup and sandwich.Food is available from open to close.Amy's soups and sandwiches have a different flare. Usually at least one soup, sometimes two. Then three or four different dinners. Very tasty and enjoyable!

Had a sandwich (roast beef spread). Never heard of this but it was quite good. Lots of recipes online. Gonna make some at home. Was served on bread. I think toast would be good too. The bartender wasn't very pleasant. Didnt seem to like her job.

Butch and Amy's place is simply your typical neighborhood watering hole. My wife and I like going there because if the classical rock being played and the late night grill that's open. Get a late night burger or pizza before your trek home.

I wish I could say that this establishment was as cute as the Airbnb we stayed at, but it's not. From Chicago, and we stayed here instead of heading back after visiting New Glarus. When we walked in, the bartender was so rude. I'd like to point out that we were the only brown people in the bar.. take that observation how you want it, considering she was friendly to everyone else in the bar.

We were there with a big group. Told it would take a while to get the food out. No problem with our group until some guy, assuming the owner, decides to stop our pool game because we might have grease on our hands. This is a bar, we shouldn't be yelled at/reprimanded for touching a pool cue with greasy hands. We will not be back and I would recommend thinking twice before going there. side note the waitress was really nice

The place is quite nice and the staff were extremely cordial. We had the specials of the day which were home made beef sandwiches and grilled chicken wraps. The food was quite tasty and very fresh. This was our first trip here but will definitely be back. Monroe has many good tavern/ eating establishments and this is definitely other top of our list now. Location is about a block off the square and parking was a breeze.
