My favorite restaurant in Monroe. Amazing food, atmosphere and the waiters are always so nice. My kids love it too. I spent $40 and my 3 kids and I couldn't eat all the food they brought out.

I used to love coming to North Side Pub for their cheese curds but, unfortunately, I had a bad experience the last time I visited. I found a wire bristle in my cheese curds and didn't make a big deal about it even though it was very disturbing. They did take the cost of the curds off my bill, but still charged me for the very small side of ranch for the curds and for a very small cup of coleslaw that I asked to swap out for the beans in the two meat plate. I told the waitress that I saw they didn't make substitutions but could I just get an extra coleslaw instead of the beans. She said yes, she could make that happen, but didn't tell me that it would cost $1.99 extra. I felt that given the fact that they could have really caused some internal damage by serving me food with a wire bristle it it, they shouldn't have been so cheap by nickeling and diming me on everything else. Very disappointing! We will not be back.
Burgers are good but their side portions/appetizers are very small and now you have to pay 1.95 to upgrade your side to fries otherwise you just get served gross coleslaw. Fries are pretty standard with burgers everywhere else. Such a let down northside.

It was a nightmare. Food and drinks were not up to par. We were charged for our meal and 3 other men who appeared to be friends with the bartender. Had to call on our way home after mentally figuring our bill. When we called back it was a huge hassle to get things fixed. The whole situation was shady. Would not recommend.

Tiny side portions. Terrible taste to cole slaw and friends said beans were tasteless. No such thing as subbing one item for another...rigid food choices. Kitchen help no hair nets, no gloves while handling your food, etc. Chicken and brisket were pretty good however, and waitresses was friendly and helpful. And charge you for lettuce and tomato if you want them in your burger? Seriously?
