You can make your own from the salad buffet.
For the main course I took the “Wiener Schnitzel”. The schnitzel was quite ok.
John Waelti created a great atmosphere in the evening with his accordion and received lots of applause for his performance. Bravo.
The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Our waitress gave us a bit of a history lesson about the hall. We definitely recommend the fondue for an appetizer. Everyone's food was terrific.

wonderful evening, great food, old fashioned, music, service
We ate at the restaurant downstairs, and had an excellent time in this unique setting. The live Polka music was fun, the beer and food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful with any questions that we had and even had plenty of recommendations for us. If you are looking for a taste of Switzerland, this is the place in Monroe to go!
We were actually there for Squeeze Box night, the 3rd Tuesday of the month when a group of accordion, banjo, and other squeeze instruments get together to play for the fun of it. It is in the old historic Turner Hall in their Rathskeller. A light menu is offered. A very enjoyable kind of evening.
Nice spacious place to host events
Their fish was good!
Not very handicap accessible
Great music for dancing.
The place hosted a benefit for Saint Victors which was really great like everything they do for the community
Restaurantji Recommends
Classic community center in Monroe offering for food and entertainment. Bowling lanes and other activities are available. I tried the restaurant for the Thanksgiving feast. A nice two-sided buffet offered lots of traditional favorites potatoes, rice, stuffing, meats. Not too many vegetarian options, I enjoyed the tomato basil soup, breads, salad bar. Everyone could enjoy the dessert bar which was filled with pies, homemade sugar cookies, pumpkin bars and more. It gets crowded and service may take a bit of time. The rooms are full of historical memorabilia that give a sense of the history of Monroe.
Our son’s wedding reception was catered by Turner Hall. All was delicious and professionally presented Highly recommend for any size gathering
The service, food and atmosphere for our large group was perfect! The buffet was delicious with all salad items fresh and cold, and the entrees and soups were hot and savory. Seeing familiar faces was also joyful! We have already planned next year's reunion at Turner Hall!
Turner Hall in Monroe, WI is my favorite place to eat! Weekends & week days. They serve the best Swiss cusine & between the atmosphere, live Swiss music & mouth watering food, you will feel like you're really in Switzerland ??! They do have American dishes too, & I guarantee, no matter what you order, the friendly staff, food & ambiance will keep you coming back again & again!
