We drove an hour to try a bar and grill south of Phillips and discovered that they closed up early. What a disappointment! Luckily we happened upon Burgers Bar & Grill. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. We each ordered one of their famous burgers and they did not disappoint! I can see why they are being nominated for the best burger in Wisconsin by National Beef Council. Very fair drink and food prices and best of all they were open and wanted our business unlike the place 3 miles south of town! We will be back. Philips is such a nice friendly community.

The prime rib was barely luke warm, the beans and au jus were room temperature. My daughters burger was extremely well done, dry and tasted weird. I won't eat there again till there is new owners.

Stopped recently. Food was OK. Will never stop again. While visiting the men's room, there is a very disrespectful picture of the President in the urinal. Doesn't matter which President.

10 of us came in hungry and in need of waiting out the storm to pass. Started off with a bad bloody mary. Then service was slow, thankfully I started off with the salad bar because food started to come out & everything was bad, overcooked, cold. It was truly disappointing. We are pretty easy to please (10 bikers) the only thing we all agree we enjoyed was the guy giving away cupcakes!! He was celebrating his Dad's 90th birthday! Will never suggest this place to anyone.
A group of 10 on motorcycles stopped in Saturday afternoon to wait out the rain. place was not busy. only 1 other table in the dining room was occupied. we waited 15 minutes for drinks. Then waited 30-45 minutes for our orders to be taken.... another 1.5 hours for all of our food to finally be served. half of our group was done eating before the others even received thier orders. the food was terrible!!! everything was over cooked and some of us would not eat it! 2 other tables also sent the food back because of being overcooked and not edible. We are not a picky group but this was the worst service followed by even worse food!

We have been there twice the food was over cooked both times the service was good but like thos last time the fries were undercooked and weren't shaken as they cooked making them stick together and the appetizers were burned and the burger was over cooked and dry as heck . Drinks were good and the bartender was friendly. We spoke about it with both the owner and the bartender and were not even offered any discount on the food or a gift certificate for a return trip . Not that big of a deal but I don't know if I will be willing to give them another chance at this point
