Great place to visit. Hubs had a breakfast burger and it was delicious. I had bang bang shrimp (no bang) and chicken noodle soup (egg noodles would probably work better with the flavor than elbow noodles) both were okay and edible but there could be some tweaks to make it better.
The food was really good and also a great value. I had a cheeseburger and it wasn’t my favorite bar burger but objectively one of the best I’ve had in the area. My company had the cod dinner and all of them liked it. I stole a piece from my girlfriend and enjoyed it myself as well. I should say we’d felt ignored by the folks behind the bar, but the gal waiting our table was fantastic and redeemed them. I would recommend this cozy dive to anyone in the Madison area...
To begin with it's easy to find. Right on the main drag,next to the Post Office.Ample free parking close to the building and some with shade Outside has a bad zpond smell which permeates to kthe walking area. Stong enough that it weekend my appetite. Service was not friendly. Crowd is 55+The kitchen area is clean and the cook is neatly dressed. The food is very reasonable priced. Exceptional might be a better term Quanity of food is off the chart. If only they used Gaiv...
