Happy to support a small independent business. The quality of flavors in each course was outstanding.
We’ve dined at Campo di Bella 4 times - and not sure why it’s taken so long to add a review. If you enjoy authentic Italian food & farm to table aesthetic then you owe it to yourself to dine at this establishment. Marc & Maryann create beautiful food & thoughtful fixe prix menus that have always left us completely sated.
This is a special place in the Wisconsin countryside that is truly embracing the local farms & farmers in everything they do.

What a wonderful evening! Great food and wine, and such a great guest vintner from Portugal (Viero de Sousa). I will be back and will be sharing my experience with those who enjoy good food and stories!

I planned this trip many months in advance and it was very worth it! Excellent on all accounts. Food was delicious and fresh. Hospitality was wonderful. We loved learning about the farm and the communal aspect of its operation, with many contributing producers in the region. Gave us several more farms to check out! Already planning our next visit.

Wonderful experience - we went for a steak dinner, definitely get your reservations early. The atmosphere was great, the host was fun to listen and talk to. The food was amazing and the wine list was fantastic. Easily the best filet mignon I’ve ever had.

Phenomenal food, served by kind and friendly people. Also my table had a dog and cat hanging out by it, and we were sat on the porch watching the setting sun over the farm. Before anything was brought out, we were given an explanation of all the courses, as well as the philosophy behind both the farm and the restaurant, all of which increased our enjoyment dramatically.
Our first course was a zucchini confit, which was phenomenal, melting in my mouth and delighting all of the senses.
Next was a salad of sorts with pork and a sauce made from anchovies that was tantalizing. We then transitioned into the main course of pork sausage and chicken. Simple ingredients, prepared well beats crazy, fancy, and bad any day.
For dessert was a course of cheese and then a basil ice cream with biscotti, and olive oil drizzled over the top.
This evening was one of the best meals that I can remember having, made all the better by the environment and the company. I wish I had a photo of the food, but I was far too interested in the eating of it all.

Everything here is incredible! We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and had the 5 course lasagna dinner. The attention to detail and carefully crafted ingredients and entrees are impressive. Came a bit early for drinks which were lovely. Dinner included salad with citrus vinaigrette, pork tonnato, lasagna bolognese, cheese board with wi cheese varieties, cake with rhubarb sauce. The lasagna was phenomenal and the best I've ever had. The pork tonnato was a unique surprise that is a new favorite! Also enjoyed the background discussion of the restaurant and each dish. Lastly, the country farm location is a lovely environment. Highly recommend!!!
These guys are an absolute class act and such a wonderful part of the Mt. Horeb community. I was in town as a guest musician for a concert and they went out of the way to cook a mind-blowing meal for me and have it delivered as a way to welcome me to the area and as a thank-you for working with the local students. Such a thoughtful and delicious gesture. Do NOT miss their dinner events - I'll definitely catch one next time I'm in town!

Stopped here tonight after reading a review on Facebook. Farm to table experience. We enjoyed everything about the experience. Make reservations online. You eat what everyone else eats. Locally sourced food. Much grown there on the farm. Their estate wine was very good. The star of the show was the Vermouth. Its brewed there on the estate. Highly recommend if you like high quality food that's well prepared. Yum.

The meals are a culmination of days—yes, days—of preparation and it shows!
Each visit feels like you’re welcomed into their family.
Tell the owner what kind of wine you like, and she’ll find something even better—like a sommelier who moonlights as a mind reader.
Come hungry, leave smitten—and maybe a little tempted to buy a farm.
