This place is perfect! Literally right next to the Necedah Wildlife Refuge. The queen beds were comfy. Having a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker was a pleasant unexpected surprise. Top notch trim work throughout the room, really giving that cozy atmosphere vibe. My favorite tv channel was the Traffic Cam of an intersection somewhere. We will be back! Place is booked already 1 year out 😳.
I didn't stay at the Inn, I came for the music. Pancake is a super friendly bartender. I had the burgers one time and the chicken tenders another both were good. Drinks are good and I didn't have to wait for refills.
First time my husband and I have been to The Wilderness since the new owners. Everyone was super friendly, bartender was fabulous and funny. Food and atmosphere were great. It was a very welcoming feeling for being first timers. We will definitely be going back.
