Everyone was super sweet! Came here after a really long shift and just wanted ice cream. Super friendly staff, talked to us, and the ice cream tasted amazing. Made an awful night feel a little better!
Just want the owners to know that we appreciate their support for the community - the Dilly Bars for the kids’ Fun Runs, the sundaes on the 4th of July, etc. - and that is a lot of why we support their DQ! The food is good, the service is friendly and the ice cream and popcorn are great, sure, but as importantly this is a rare franchise that works so hard to be part of their small town.
Vegetarians BEWARE! As a longtime popcorn aficionado, I too was amazed by the craveabilty of Archie's popcorn. I was trying to figure out what kind of oil it was popped in that gave it that amazing flavor, butteryness & crunch. I gave up and called them and was horrified to learn, they pop it in an unspecified "ANIMAL blend". (I assume lard & beef tallow) I'm sure many vegetarians and adults with heart issues, that regularly enjoy this popcorn,...
