We met some family who were staying at the Double Tree Hotel after we had all had a long day of celebrating my wife’s 60th b’day. The atmosphere was just what the doctor ordered; quiet, comfortable and elegant. Quite the opposite of our crowded garage party. Our bartender was outstanding in her attention to us and her drink preparation. We ordered a variety of adult drinks and a menagerie of snacks and dips. They all came in a timely manner and all hit the spot quite nicely....
I've stayed at this hotel twice but never visited the restaurant on-site. A late flight in and a busy day ahead left me with limited choices, and I decided to check it out.The waitress/bartender was super helpful in answering questions I had concerning items on the menu.I decided on the pretzel bites and teriyaki chicken wings. Food was good. Cesar salad and Jalapeño Popper special was great! Bartender was sweet and helpful. Beer selection is decent for a hotel bar. Biggest complaint is the very cold room (65 degrees). How did I know? …cause I sneakily walked up to thermostat and changed the temp to a sane temperature (hahaha!). Space is classy and nice.
