The food here is homemade and was very good. I had the hot beef sandwich special for lunch. It was delicious. The staff was very friendly and we spent some time in the gift shop next to the restaurant. Will definitely stop by next time we’re in the area

Had lunch there on August 23, 2025. Ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger and onion rings. The Burger was very good and cooked to perfection. The Onion Rings were a different story. They were OUTSTANDING. Perfectly cooked and crunchy. They were the best Onion Rings I've ever had. The Service was great! My advice.....Get those Onion Rings! ☺️☺️☺️

EXCELLENT hidden little gem!!! Cozy, inviting, down home atmosphere. Food was fabulous on flavor, good portion sizes, waitress was attentive. They do not accept cards - only check or cash, but do have an ATM if needed. Highly recommend a visit to this place if you're in the area - I don't think you will be disappointed.

After looking online and seeing they were open until 3 on a Saturday, we stopped in for a late lunch at 1:40pm. Noticing their sign said closed on the door, my mom walked in to see several people seated, but was not greeted. She came back out and got me. I looked at the hours on the door and they said open until 2:00. (I immediately checked the time to make sure it was before 2.) As we walked in, we were told everything was shut off so we left. If the sign says you are open until 2:00, you serve food until 2:00!
I know their food is good, we eat breakfast there a lot. But I'm hugely disappointed in our experience this time. I recommend fixing your hours online and changing your hours if you are not going to serve food until close. I'm not sure we will be back for lunch again in the future.
