Cool vibe. Great selection of cheeses, snack sticks, wine and other random condiments. Sandwiches are all great! You can’t go wrong with either a hot or cold sandwich! We try to stop every time we pass through. Worth a try if you haven’t been there before.

We drive an hour and a half in the Fall to visit Wabasha and then head over the bridge to Nelson's for ice cream. It's worth the drive and we never leave without some squeaky fresh cheese curds to take home. It's also a great place for lunch and finding specialty treats from other countries. My kids will forever remember our drives to Nelson's Creamery for ice cream. 🩷

Nice stop for a light snack or ice cream while taking a leisure cruise along the Mississippi River in Wisconsin. Touristy pricing but a large selection of meats, cheeses, crackers, wines, and other beverages. There are handmade sandwich selections as well as a variety of ice cream.
