The everyday fish fry was FANTASTIC. The cod was not fishy and it was so light yet had such a perfect crunch. 10/10 recommend this dish, the fish was perfect and might have been the best fish fry I’ve ever had. The burger not so much, it was so soft it kind of melted in your mouth and the patty had a funny taste. The French fries were flavorful and both soft and crunchy. The atmosphere could use a little work as it wasn’t too inviting
I stopped in with my son this afternoon for a couple of St. Patty's day takeout dinners. The bartender explained that, unfortunately, these traditional dinners were for dine in only. After explaining why I wanted these to go, they readily agreed to accommodate my request. I had heard that the corned beef and cabbage was excellent. It WAS really good. Thanks.
This was a quiet local bar that has great drinks and simple and good bar food! The bartender handled everything including the cooking. We went on a Monday night and it was nice a relaxing.
