“I recommend a visit to the Barn. I opened a new shop April 3rd of 2024 a month before the makers mart event in May of this year. What a wonderful opportunity for my new business to get introduced. It’s been a wonderful experience so far and my neighbors have been very welcoming. My new business is called MoeChic the barn shops which is located in the barn on the grounds of Stone wood Village. I’m so excited to be here and I’m loving it. Come visit the shop and meet myself and my greeter, Buddy who is my lovable Burnedoodle. The shop includes a gallery area with unique handmade items created by local artists. Another area is set up as a boutique with women’s clothing, handmade from a several countries purchase through fair trade, a shoe line and many accessories and jewelry. All handmade, artistic and cultural in fashion. And of course the upper level is layed out with vintage, re-purpose an upcycled items mixed with vintage and current artwork. “We ordered cheese cakes for our wedding from mama ducky. Melissa was awesome start to finish! She took time to talk with me with out an appointment.(I had been to 3 other bakeries and no one would even answer any questions I had with out a appointment) We like red velvet and Melissa made little trials of each red velet option for us to try. She was always prompt to respond to any messages we sent. The day of She delivered to the venue right on time. She truly cares about her customers. We would highly recommend her and mama ducky!“

“Been going to this location for many years now. Jodie (the manager) seems to be the best manager that has been there. She's so sweet and helpful, has helped me with many birthday cakes and individual treats as well. It's sad to see the stuff that she has to deal with, with her fellow employees. Many times I have gone in there and she hasn't been there, but you can hear the ones that are working talking bad about her and other coworkers as well and they make you wait forever to be waited on, these other workers just don't seem to care about the store itself and their coworkers. Just imagine how toxic it must be for Jodie and the others. Jodie goes out of her to make me and my family feel important every time that we come in. We ourselves live a hour away, but we continue to come to this location because of Jodie.“
