Ordered a detox tropical smoothie at 10, place was pretty busy but the staff was extremely helpful and tentative. Thank you Tropical smoothie! Detox tasted awesome with the addition of fresh ginger.
Their smoothies are tasty and have always been prepared correctly for me. But my main issues are the following, the first two of which apply to all their locations, the third of which is specific to the New Berlin store: [1] Styrofoam cups (competitors use paper or #1 or #5 recyclables); [2] Basically only 1 or 2 smoothie choices with protein included (I will not pay extra to add protein powder to some other selection) [3] Servers / cashiers (much more than one of them, which...
They are pushy with tip screen, even in drive thru. Most drive-thru's take your card and process your payment. Not here. As soon as you try to hand them card, they turn away, grab a handheld device and hand to you, with the tip screen front and center.
