Went here with my boyfriend and ordered a burger. This has been an ongoing joke between us that I never order burgers when we are out so I finally had him decide a place for us to go to get my first burger from a restaurant in probably 15 years.

After ordering I realized that we never were asked how we liked our burgers and did not see our waitress again until the food came out. The burger was well done and dry. I wasn’t interested in having more but was content with the sweet potato fries. My boyfriend then informed our waitress, Lisa, that I did not like my burger. I was then met with hostility from Lisa. She was very aggressive and rude to me. Sorry it was my first time at Champs and did not know that “they don’t ask their customers how they like their burgers”. She continued to be very rude.

I then went to the bathroom and she came back to the table talking to my boyfriend saying “all of this over a damn burger” and continued to be rude. I never again will come back to this restaurant considering this was the first time I had came here and the first time in 15 years that I tried to order a burger… not impressed.

This is a very nice (multitiered!) bar & grill on the Knowles strip of New Richmond. At least 28 taps, and as I'm writing this four New Glarus varieties: Moon Man, Tailwagger Amber, Fat Squirrel, and (of course) the staple Spotted Cow. They have an amazing rooftop patio. A fabulous nice-weather place to chill and have fun with lots of arcade games, a bubble hockey table, and darts. Also no bad seat in the house.

Edit: The jalepeño popper burger is outstanding. I also appreciated $2 taps of Dale's Pale Ale (the current promo as of this writing).

The young man that served us today, I believe his name was Anton, was very respectful, polite and an excellent server. This establishment is lucky to have him in their employment... he could teach a lot of teens(and adults)what work ethics are all about. We will return in hopes that he will be our server. The food was good too.

The rooftop bar at Champs is hands-down my favorite! I wish more places offered something like this, but honestly, it’s part of what makes Champs such a must-visit destination. The food is phenomenal, and I love the cozy, inviting atmosphere on the rooftop. The staff is absolutely stellar, and the owner is not only welcoming but truly a fantastic person.

Food is DELICIOUS! Their burgers are made of high quality beef. They aren't afraid to serve you Medium rare, or even rare if you ask. I recommend the Mushroom Swiss burger; you'll thank me. Lisa is a stellar face to see when you go in with such a bright and positive attitude. She'll call you by your name and make you feel welcomed. Clean, organized, quality service. Didn't care for the Caramel Apple Potstickers. Such a great idea if the filling wasn't so dry. (Psst....) who likes everything on a menu though?, let's be real. Will be back, can't wait to come back. A++.

The best soup and grilled cheese combo in the country. I prefer the tomato bisque, but the chicken wild rice is amazing as well. I’ve done dine in and take out as well as DoorDash. You will not be disappointed.
