Cyclists on the Elroy-Sparta Trail, take note: you know how sometimes you stop in a bar and the locals look at you like you crawled out from under some rock? Not here! I was stuck three hours waiting out a thunderstorm, and the locals were friendly and socialable. I usually leave my helmet outside if it might rain to keep it from getting wet, but I brought it in… and forgot about it. I called The Place when I arrived in Wilton to let them know I got there safely (seeing as how I finished up those last six miles at 11pm— yikes!) when they told me my helmet was still there. One of the bar patrons volunteered to drive it over for me, and of course refused any reward. Great crowd!

Bingo night, Place is small, patrons are nice. Bartenders where very friendly. However for some reason the cook came out of kitchen with attitude. Thinking we where eating peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor. Without walking around to see if we had. She told us that there was a paper boat on counter for shells. Which is what we were doing. This could of been handled better, then her glaring at my niece and saying anything. Most likely we will not be back.
