We had the booth which apparently people 'fight over' on the weekends. The food was very good with large portions. Every table took home a box so assume you will as well. The service was a bit slow but I think that was because the menu is very large and the food was very well prepared. I had the October special steak. Cooked to perfection.

We had a horrible experience for dinner tonight at Trattoria di Carlo in Oak Creek, this was our first visit with new management as we had gone there before a few times and it was always great. Made reservations for 6:00. Got the table at 6:15. First server took our drink order and then was confused that there was already a balance on our tab so he took off. We never saw those drinks or him again. Second server came and took our order and we mentioned the previous drink. Told her to cancel that and order a bottle of wine instead. Waited for the bottle for at least 30 minutes. She came back after we got up and complained about the missing wine. Then we were waiting for our salads. The table next to us had come in after us and they had an appetizer and salads. We had nothing. Again we complained. Third server took the salad order...again. Fourth server finally brought the salads. Although I believe vinegar and oil salad dressing should really include oil and not just vinegar. Vinegar is all I got and of course no one came to check on us. Food came at 7:15. The Manager came over and said the waitstaff were overworked because of a large party in the back. I wonder if that was a surprise that they hadn't planned on? Most big parties make a reservation and they have dedicated staff. Final topping on the evening was our neighbor's credit card only went through for two third's of the bill and the server said the credit card didn't have enough to cover the whole bill. Wouldn't the whole bill have been denied if that were the case? The manager came over and made us feel like we were at fault. He cancelled the first payment and reran the card and surprise it worked. At that point we were more than a little annoyed. At no time did they offer any compensation or dessert. Just crappy management. Too bad the servers get all the blame when the management is truly at fault. This is one restaurant we will never go to again!!!

My husband bought me an Italian beef sandwich and when I tell you it was the best one I had in wisconsin it was so good the bread wasn't Soggy the meat was so juice definitely going back......thank you the food was delicious

Our reason to be there was a wedding reception. Staff was extremely efficient. Courses were delivered promptly. The Chicken Parm was bland but the toss salad was delicious.

I really enjoyed the meal from start to finish. Italian wedding soup, salad, pasta carbonara and sausage. Service was great, the entire staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

We had our daughter’s graduation/birthday party in the “party room”, with about 35 guests. Frank was very accommodating and easy to work with. Antonia and staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious….. the chicken alfredo making the top of the favorites list. Would definitely recommend diCarlos for dinner and your next gathering.
