Hi I was very excited for your Brunch My wife and I went at 12:20 pm on Sunday . We stood by the hostess stand for 5 minutes nobody approached us we than asked the bartender where can we sit she said anywhere . We sat down about 8 minutes later a waitress from another section saw us and said anyone been with you yet we said no than she said someone would be with us about another 5 minutes go by and we get our waitress ( we jokingly asked if someone called in sick and he sways no its how we staff and how we like it so we don’t have to share tips ) ok but you are losing customers . I actually saw a different family 2 adults and a boy leave after not getting service for 10 minutes . We than finally placed our order and normal waitresses bring you your drinks first no first came our meal and than the drinks . Still no worries but for the grand finally I made the mistake of ordering brunch that advertised goes until 2 . I walk over and there is only gravy biscuits some chicken nachos some mashed potatoes some veggies squash carrot thing and uncooked raw bacon . I should have taken pictures . But I am normally a chilled guy but it ate me up inside all day . I should have not paid $50 with tip for that garbage . So sad things have to change and by the way I saw about 8 people look at your buffet after me and they either didn’t order or walk out
We went to have dinner with friends. The bartender (Paige) asked what we’d like to drink and he responded with I’ll take whatever you have (as a joke) and she didn’t even crack a smile. I said boy she doesn’t find you funny and she just stared at me. She went on to make our drinks, I asked for a Vodka, sprite and cranberry, which she made incorrect. I got vodka, club soda and cranberry. She was not pleased to have to remake it. We asked for menus, after 25 minutes of waiting we finally waived her down to ask her if we could order. She took our order, we stated a rare haystack burger and a brick stone pizza with pepperoni and onion. Well we got our food, burger was well done and the pizza was filled with onions. Never said anything about the food, we were never asked how it was. We ate, and our plates sat on the bar for almost the whole time we sat there. It took the owner to come and say how they should have been picked up already. Didn’t receive another drink until a second bartender came on shift and she was wonderful, she was on top of it. Never had Paige help us again. We wanted to give our tip to the new bartender and were told they split tips. We would have left a bigger tip had Paige ever remotely cared to be a bartender. Just her overall attitude to all the customers was sad. Almost like she was to good to be helping people. Sad
Patty Melt on marbled rye. Fries on the side.
Philly eggrolls were great! Chicken tenders were average but good and crispy. We sat at the bar after the Forth of July Parade and it was crazy busy but service was still quick and pleasant.
Mediocre food and service both times we tried Cornerstone.
I called ahead to place a pickup order and mentioned that I would be paying with cash. Instead of a simple acknowledgment, I was met with a dismissive tone and questioned about not having a card—something I found unnecessary and unprofessional. After driving about 30 minutes to pick up the food, I was greeted by a bartender who seemed irritated and unwelcoming, likely the same person I spoke to on the phone. The interaction felt rushed and uncomfortable. Once I got home, I discovered that part of my child’s meal was missing—an incredibly frustrating oversight, especially for any parent who knows how important it is to have a complete meal for a hungry child. I paid a significant amount only to receive incomplete food and poor customer service. It’s clear that there’s room for improvement in both staff training and how customer interactions are handled. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

This restaurant has a big menu with a variety of things to choose from. The service is great, and so is the atmosphere. We are big Packer fans, so we go there quite a bit.
We decided to try Cornerstone for take out pizza for the first time. It didn't quite hit the mark for us. We had pepperoni and mushroom. The pizza really had no flavor. Maybe it was due to take out but the edge crust was good, chewing the middle areas was like chewing rubber. Also tried the mozzarella sticks that were supposedly the best because they are wonton wrapped. I've had authentic wonton wrapped and fried. Usually light and crispy. I'm not sure what these were. Maybe from a box? The sauce was really dark and almost had a burnt taste.
Just ok bar food but a fun atmosphere. I hope the 10 cents you saved by not refilling my soft drink was worth it. Lots of other places to enjoy in Oconomowoc better than Cornerstone.

Have always enjoyed this place! We were lucky enough to have them host our holiday work party with a two week notice due to the other venue cancelling on us. It was such a wonderful space and experience!! I highly recommend them! Thank you!!
Pizza was one of the best I had in a very long time!
