“We had an amazing first time experience, and already can’t wait to go back! Everything was perfect. Our server Olivia was wonderful, and everything we ate was beyond delicious. We started out with the truffle burrata bruschetta, and for entrees I had the pasta wheel special and added the ground sausage, and my husband had the salmon special topped with crab. We couldn’t decide on a dessert, so we got 2. The tiramisu and citrus cheesecake were both incredible! Some of the chefs waved to us on the way out, and I can tell the staff truly care about serving their customers with excellence. Highly, highly recommend Lago Su Bella! I promise you won’t be disappointed! ❤️😋👌🏼”

“Last night was my first time breaking bread at Bella Gusto… wish I hadn’t waited so long! My food (side salad with, what tasted like, homemade bleu cheese dressing, and a Pinsa w/ pepperoni & green olives) and a glass of their house Chardonnay was not only delicious and fresh-tasting; it was reasonably priced, IMO. My husband also ordered a meal and beverage, and our bill was just over $60. Well worth it! I’m only sorry I didn’t take pictures of the beautifully presented food before it was consumed. 😊 First time visitors: the menus are on the side of the beverage cooler (or your phone 😉); and you place your order at the bar. Someone will bring your food to you.
P.S. We took home some Tiramisu and Caprese salad… exceptional!”

“I’ve been coming here for a while, and every time the service is great. The staff always has a good attitude and a welcoming atmosphere, never with a bad face. They’ve stayed consistent with the taste and quality of their food, and the portions are always good. The food also comes out fast, which is a big plus. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new 10/10!”

“There's no better pair than strawberry and banana when you're sipping smoothies at the River Coffee Cafe In Oconomowoc. They work together to give your drink just the right amount of sweetness and tang. The iced Chai is perfection! The drive through is wonderful when you’re on the go. Great quality and gracious staff!”

“Oh my lanta! The shredded pork and chicken from here is ahhhhmazing!!! We ordered 10 pounds of each for a party yesterday. Their was an issue where we got part of the wrong order and it was corrected right as she found out and she was so nice! The entire party loved the meats! Will be ordering again, thank you so much!”

“Had the opportunity to stop here with my wife last week after getting breakfast next door. had no idea this coffee shop was here. very happy we found it. The service was great and the coffee was awesome! hopefully we can stop again soon to try other items off the menu. They also had some swag on the wall and look to carry a few dog toys if you're interested in that. overall, very happy with our experience.”

“Called and rented two bays for the Super Bowl, and the customer service was top of the line. The staff were amazing—super friendly and helpful. The simulators are also top of the line. Highly recommend for group experiences!”

“This was our first time trying Eric’s & it was super delicious! My son loved the gluten free crust! My daughter & I had the hand tossed Margarita pizza & it is the best I’ve had in a long time! Delivery was fast, pizza was hot when it arrived & Eric was very friendly when I called with questions & concerns about the gluten free crust/my son is celiac. Five stars!”

“First time here and definitely won’t be the last. Large bar seating and a small town feel. Service was absolutely outstanding! I didn’t have a lot of time and it was like the bartender knew that, didn’t have to wait long for anything. Even tho I’m not a regular- service was great, just like I’ve been going there for years. I believe the bartenders name was Stacy, she’s clearly a rockstar!”

“Not going to lie; I was a bit nervous ordering from here after reading all the reviews about timeliness, taste, and experience. My experience did not reflect any of the bad reviews I read. The food was good. They were on time, and the lady working was very nice and appreciative of my business. I ordered my go to at Chinese take out, sweat and sour chicken combo, which came with fried rice and an egg roll. We also go the crab Rangoons which were nice and crispy.”

“The server was very friendly. My dining partner thought he was over the top however. Didn’t bother me, but he perhaps asked too many questions about how we were doing and how everything was and if we were liking everything.
We did not get to sit outside, (which we wanted to) because there’s a bee problem outside. I don’t know if there’s something that could be done about that or not.
Inside seating is just more noisy.
Overall, I have liked coming here for the food selection and the atmosphere.”

“We had a private event here for a bridal shower and it was the perfect space! It was extremely affordable, and the bar tenders there were so nice/accommodating. We basically came in and took over the whole place with decor while they happily played the music we wanted. I would 10/10 recommend this place for an event or for just cocktails with friends.”

“My husband and I had dinner at Twisted Fire, Oconomowoc, WI on Thursday, June 17, 2022. It was fabulous! I ordered Truffle Fries, Chorizo Stuffed Dates wrapped in bacon & pipperada sauce = sooo delish! I have to go back and order these again! Out of this world amazing! I also ordered the Tuna Special which was grilled to perfection and came with baked small potatoes and baby broccoli tips all prepared just right. My Husband ordered the Italian Pizza with Breadsticks. He also raved about his choices. We want to give a shout out to our server Colton who was knowledgeable, and so fun! The whole night was worth every pretty penny spent there. We can’t wait to go back! This was my second time there and both times they didn’t disappoint. Kudos to you Twisted Fire for beautiful atmosphere and a ton of Gluten Free choices. The whole experience is worth going back again!”

“We have used Kim's for catering to treat the staff at our school and it is always a favorite. Kim is always flexible and helps to find options that work within our budget. She's even helped us out in a crunch when we were looking for a last minute option, opening early to help us out. If you are looking for good food or catering, check out Kim's!”

“One of the better Chinese food options in lake country. They seem to use five spice and other flavorful seasonings. A lot of places around the area use way too much oil in their dishes but this place used a small amount and focused more on flavorful sauces instead of oily sauces. I would personally love the option of ordering online if that became available, however the woman who took my order over the phone was quick and everything was correct and ready on time. It’s a farther drive for me but i would rather drive the extra 10 min to china one in order to enjoy the meal more than other options I’ve tried in lake country. Will be back.”

“Fresh baked cafe is a gift to the town of Oconomowoc. Offering croissants you could easily find in Paris. and a young man working the week shift direct from Paris. The weekend shift, however needs more spark. I absolutely recommend the place. A side note it offers along with the Mexican food carts a degree of diversity that this isolated town sorely needs. jay C”

“First time in many years, Sat outside we had our dog with us. Ordered a pizza and onion rings. Everything was good. O rings had a lite batter and done perfectly. Pizza crust was thin and crispy and lots of fresh toppings. We'll go back.”

“The Rivalry Pub is our new favorite spot. The atmosphere is upscale, but relaxing. We love sitting out on the patio or inside with the doors open. They have great burgers and a unique menu. Last night we joined friends and had the big pretzel followed by fish fry. All the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Try the old fashions, the muddled sweet cherries are delish.”

“Great, true definition of dive bar. Has the lake smell, bathrooms are really clean, friendly people and staff. We didn't eat here but drinks were good and fair prices. A must stop for an afternoon drink if in the area.”

“Met the owner, and advised I was completely shocked at the customer service provided at this location - in a good way! We go in often to pick-up a quick dinner from this location because of Josh! He's amazing and really loves his job! He's funny, and makes my night just a bit better when we are blessed enough to get him. AND - he makes a fantastic sandwich to boot! SUBWAY you should use him as a trainer! Way to REPRESENT Josh!!”

“Ordered a takeout pizza this afternoon and when I went in to pick up, the manager told me they had forgotten the stuffed crust. He asked if I wanted it and I said I preferred a stuffed crust. What he meant was they would remake my pizza and I could have the incorrect one free! He apologized and remade it right away and we even got free sodas while we waited. They went above and beyond to make it right. Will definitely return!”

“The kitchen at the hideaway puts out some excellent tasting seasonal dishes such as the short ribs. Toady I was able to sample the new smoked meat selection and oh, man the flavor is out of this world. The Ribs, lean brisket and fatty brisket is insanely good. The servers are excellent and friendly. Lexi was so polite and proper. On a very busy day when the kitchen was very backed up 1-1.5 hours she made sure to make us aware of the wait we had in store. We really appreciated that attention and heads up. The lake front dining experience that is somehow unique to hideaway vs. others on Okauchee was worth the wait. The staff and other customers are so friendly and inviting. The Hideaway is a family run business done right. I ran into a hideaway bartender at Kwik Trip on a random day and asked how he liked working there since a family member was looking for a serving or bartender job. He told me how he has worked in the industry many years all across lake country and has never been as happy with the environment of the restaurant and bar industry as he is with working at The Hideaway.”

“We have been to Lucky Chuckys a few times. Great food. The service is not good. Issues were taken care of but should not have happened in first place…quality control. Need better training. Tried giving it a few chances but probably won’t be back. Service to us is very important. So many other places to go that have good food but if service is bad.”

“Hell yes! I tried Gabriel's Taqueria Food Truck #2 for the first time a few weeks ago. FANTASTIC. This is the real deal. I can't say enough about how yummy the burritos are! My favorite thing is chorizo, and boy do they do it right. Gabriel's burritos are as good or better than Jose's Blue Sombrero. They are no-kidding out of this world. If you haven't tried these guys yet, you are really in for a treat! Today we had one of our ridiculous snow storms, and these guys are out there - Gabriel himself, no less - making food. Wow. Had a great lunch.😃😃”

“We used Cornerstone for our son's rehearsal dinner. Party of about 30. Jamie, our event coordinator, took excellent care of us. The dinner went flawlessly. Food was excellent. Charlie, our bartender, was also awesome. Service was great. I cannot say more about how great our experience was. I am not one who usually leaves reviews unless things go extremely well or very bad. I can say that in this case everything went very well. Highly recommend!!”

“We haven't been able to eat at George Webb since the Hartford location closed. Since we were in Oconomowoc we stopped for breakfast. What an amazing staff you have. You even helped my husband by letting him have a few jelly packs for my mil in the nursing home. Thank you so much for making me smile and btw, the food was great!! Karen St George”
