“I absolutely love this place. Decidedly old school without a shred of pretension. The best kind of time warp. The bartenders are routinely friendly and the canned and bottled beer selection is surprisingly good considering it's a bit off the beaten path.“
“This was our first visit to Winger's. We actually were in and out of there three times over the weekend. MASSIVE bar, really great design. We were there earlier in the day and then came back an hour or so prior to the annual Christmas parade. The place was a madhouse but the staff never stopped moving and worked their tailfeathers off! Clean, Dive-ish place. We will definitely go back when we are up North again.“
“Friday fish fry. The food was excellent. The servings were large. The fried walleye with lemon pepper bragging was 'way too salty. Unless you like it that way, ask them to go light on the seasoning and then salt.We also tried the bluegill. It too was excellent. The tartar sauce, the coleslaw, the fries, and the rye bread were surprisingly good.But the onion rings were exquisite.My wife and I considered our meals to be a great value. I had to strip the breading off of my walleye because of the salt, but just the fish was delicious. Removed one star because of that. We will be back.“
“5 stars for atmosphere because it is the quintessential DIVE BAR! For dive bars, it gets 5 stars. For a fine dining restaurant, it would get 1 star. So if you're looking for a great dive bar with friendly staff and patrons who are a cast of characters, then look no further! It's like being up north without having to travel. And the prices can't be beat!“
“We just had my baby shower here on 10/8/23. While we were initially very excited to have our event in this space, when my sisters showed up they found another baby shower setting up for a separate event- even though we booked the entire room (we booked months in advance and my sister had multiple confirmation emails and questions back and forth). The space was somehow double booked and we had to split the room directly in half between the two groups. They had a party of about 15 people and we had 40-45 people. It was quite cramped and hot on our side. While they did discount our tab for the event, it still was not what we were expecting as we had lots of games and food we brought to set up and did not have adequate space. I gave 3 stars because they seemed genuinely sorry for the mix up, and did try to make it right, however we chose the space because we had a large group and we were squished into 1/2 of the room which was quite tight and uncomfortable. My gifts had to be shoved onto the floor underneath tables and there was little to no moving room.While we made the best of it, I would not have another event here, as it would be hard to trust they would have the space to accommodate my group if this kind of mixup happened again in the future. Just wanted to share in case there’s someone else out there thinking of holding a larger group event here. Even if you confirm multiple times, and book way in advance, there may be issues with your group’s reservation.EDIT: While there was the major issue in them double booking our event, they truly have gone above and beyond to try to make this right. My family has a lot of events and we would be willing to give them another try because of their willingness to help correct the issue!“
“A recent date night led us to Oconomowoc. We had decided to wander a nearby trail followed by cocktails and then dinner. The cocktail portion of the evening led us to Splash Martini Bar. My date and I tend toward whiskey cocktails, so we both opted for their Manhattan. Their pours are incredibly generous and their prices are incredibly reasonable. What's not to love? We weren't there for bites but they do have a few snacks on the menu to enjoy with your cocktails if you desire. The inside is warm, welcoming, and intimate. I was there during brisk weather, so we sat inside but it appears they have some lovely outdoor seating as well. The service was efficient and friendly enough. If you're in the area, a great spot to enjoy a pre or post dinner cocktail. Get to it!“

Friendly bar with a good variety of specialty beers on tap. Tom Basil Collin’s is a great go to in all the seasons. Soft serve custard is delicious. Specials every day. “The location of this restaurant is across from Silver lake, so there is a nice view of the lake, sitting outside in the summer is nice, last time I was there I had the loaded nacho plate and I have yet to have anything match how good they were.I would definitely go back!“

“I can absolutely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Bar and Grill at Pabst Farm in Oconomowoc, WI! The food is awesome, and I would say that the burger is the best in town. The wings are fantastic, and on Mondays they are 40 cents a piece! The dry rubs and wet sauces are all specially prepared and are very good!The rest of the menu, along with the weekly specials, are all great value and prepared with fresh ingredients and care by the Garden Inn chefs, Tammy and Will.Service at the bar is great. Emily, Lisa, Heather and Dan are all accomplished bar tenders, very personable and provide great service.There is no better spot to land for a great meal and great service in Oconomowoc - please stop by and enjoy an evening at the Garden Inn Bar and Grill!“
