“We needed a place to have family gather after a Baptism and Town 9 Tap met our every need. JT customized a breakfast and lunch menu for us to choose what we wanted to eat. “This is a small town local bar with a good jukebox and fun folks. No frills. Drinks are reasonably priced. Annie is in her 70s and has owned the place for many decades. She'll occasionally offer a fish fry on Fridays and Rueben sandwiches around St. Patricks Day. Daytime during the week (aside from Friday) is quiet and peaceful. The atmosphere ramps up around 3pmish - jukebox playing and a lot of conversation.“

“Ordered over the phone for pick up and told an hour wait. Honestly this did not bother me at all. When it came to getting my food and taking home, we were blissfully silent for 15 minutes while devouring our sandwiches. I just wanted a good old plain burger and I was not disappointed. My husband's nite owl burger was perfectly cooked and delicious as well my son wanted the schlessinger chicken sandwich and not being a onion fan I took them and put them on mine. Lov3d it. Get the sour cream and chive fries and dip them in ranch. Sooo yummy. Long story short you can't go wrong with takeout and I'm sure ordering at the tavern would have been just as good.“

“It was very busy when I went in because they had two parties going. I did not have anything to eat so I cannot rate the food. They made a fabulous lemon drop Martini but it was smaller than most martini glasses I'm used to and was quite expensive, at $11. I have to say Sheryl did a wonderful job cleaning up the place from what it used to be!“
