“I don't just go to a restaurant for the food. Service and atmosphere can make her break a meal. In this case, I wanted to bring a fantastic meal. I came in by myself, and felt so comfortable ordering to go from the bartender, Will. he recommended 12 pounds filet mignon and I complemented this with a loaded baked potato. While waiting, he highly recommended the mob craft vanilla, wafer Porter. I usually do not drink, porters or spout, but he was right. This was a very move and mellow beer with distinct flavors of vanilla wafer. Brooke, is a very personable waitress who sent me home with extra bread. Both Brooke and Will enjoy their job and it shows in their conversation. I felt welcome coming in for a to go order and sitting at the bar. As for the food, Will was right. The fillet was very flavorful and tender. Loaded baked potato the perfect amount of toppings. Had I not had to drive 10 minutes home, I would have chosen the Tara Mazzu sundae for dessert. This restaurant exceeded my expectations.“
“We had the birria soup and birria empanadas. Wow! What flavor. The soup is served with hot tortillas, onions and cilantro. The beef is succulent and the broth is tasty but not spicy hot. “We went on taco Tuesday. The tacos leave a little to be desired. I had corn tortillas with mine, but they fell apart and were cold. The meat, carnitas, was very plentiful, which I loved. But it was dry and a little tough to eat. I also ordered an empanada, which was the highlight of the evening and much envied by my companions, who all ordered tacos.Besides the food, which I want to go back to try multiple other options on their menu, the service was very slow. We had a group of 4, and dinner service took 2 full hours, plus whatever time my friends waited before my partner and I got there. It was a good 20-25 mins before the waiter took our first drink order. We were there an hour before they came back for food orders. We were never asked if we wanted another round of drinks, though they did refill the waters right at the very end while we were waiting for the check. Just... So slow. And it was empty in there!Again, I want to go back, which will take a little convincing to my partner, to try other things on their menu. Maybe sit at the bar next time? That might reduce the service time significantly.“

We go for the Friday Fish Fry, they take your order when you arrive and seated when food is ready. They have a pool table and the best darn free popcorn I've ever eaten at any venue. It's always a fun time at Devines. Bartenders are fun and keep the fun going. Come on out to Brookfield to have a brewsky at Devines, N. 124th about a long block north of Capitol Drive. Bring your well-behaved/social k-9 along to join in on the fun. I got the classic hate for being a Californian, but that's the typical banter you'd expect from a place like this in the Midwest. The bartender didn't actually acknowledge us too much over the course of the time we were there as we'd expect from a place like this, however towards the end of the night when the others left, his conversation with us was very interesting and personal about his past which was awesome. I'm not a dive bar type of person, but this one was decent. It also has a touch-tunes if you're looking to change up the music.“
“While sitting there I was able to listen to Jeannie holiday, the niece of Billie Holiday, who was putting on a live entertainment and her Genie holiday band. From 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. sunday. I had a very good time the bartenders we're very kind and willing to assist. Although the place was full they had two bar Maids and they were very attentive to what the Patriots wanted and desired. Then he was right there without hesitation when I approached the bar asking me what I wanted to drink. The crowd looked close knit, but friendly and gave me a few brief glances. “My experience at Tiny T's was different than I expected. First I had no idea it was next to Ivee's and that the whole bar was "tiny." I did enjoy the beer served by the bartender and also a guy next to me was nice enough to pay for my shot. I would definitely come back to this place and recommend this place to all of my friends.“

We started out with the lamb momo and baingan bharta, which we easily devoured alongside the tangy tamarind and kenema aachars. I had the paneer and my husband had the thali - both equally amazing. The piro piro drink was refreshing. Just as good as the food was the impeccable staff and ambiance. The music and lighting throughout the restaurant felt like a metropolitan dining experience. “Mitchell's is one of the last "classic " taverns around today like the tomato patch or Remo's. Brent,the owner, is and has been one of the most solid guy there is,his passion and presence in his his bar shows highly in his atmosphere of Mitchell's.
