We stopped in for lunch and got burgers and fries which were pretty darn tasty. The service was super friendly (if slow), and we enjoyed some nice conversation about travel and small town life while waiting for our food. I definitely recommend dropping in, I know we'll be back for fish fry and their Thursday night special (different every week).“

“Wes and crew catered dinner for our high school football team tonight. Brisket, pulled pork and mac & cheese. It was absolutely delicious and a total hit! The boys went back for seconds and thirds! We have had parties at The Ark and The Hive, they are always a pleasure to work with and the food is outstanding.“

It feels less like a business and more like a gathering place where people still believe in good service, good food, and treating folks right. Thank you Jasmine and Dave for welcoming a couple strangers on a rainy, gloomy night. Along with Chef Bryan you brought some sunshine into long weeks of unpacking! So glad we ran out of food to eat at home and decided to check out LKH!

“Stopped here yesterday 10/20/23 exclusively for the fish fry. The haddock dinner was definitely in the top 5% of all time on my long list of Wisconsin fish frys. Wished it was closer to my house than 30 miles. Will definitely be back again.“

“Rather large bar. They have an indoor/outdoor smoking area where you can take your drinks with you. They also have a large back hall that you can rent for parties, weddings, or anything else! There are two pool tables and they have a pool league at this bar as well so be sure to find out when the league plays if you're planning to go for pool! Friendly bartenders and good service.“

“We just had a fish fry here. They have two tables that fit four people and two tables that fit two and can be put together. They have a pool table and two dart boards. They offer haddock either beer-battered, lightly breaded or baked with lemon pepper. They offer lightly breaded bluegill or walleye. It is the best fish fry I have ever had. Being gluten free I got the baked. My significant other got the lightly breaded bluegill and absolutely loved it. The coleslaw, regular french fries were all very good. They serve 3pm-8pm. We highly recommend them!“

The burgers were excellent but I felt bad cuz a lot of people came in right after us and they were told there was no cook. So we must just have made it i time to eat. Everything was great and the service was great but if they are not going to be serving food at night they should change their hours for serving food.“

“We ordered fish for the first time there. It was a pick up order for two 3-piece fish dinners. We got home and were missing the fries on both dinners. I called and the gentleman apologized up and down. He made us a new batch. Handled it very well. I was happy and fish was delicious. Coleslaw was very good too. “Seating is a little tight, but manageable. Slight issue with the sun blinding a person facing west in the afternoon.

Margaritas were tasty and potent. Other beverages were very good as well.

The food was delicious. I had the barbacoa quesadilla and it was delightful. One of our party had carne asada. It was prepared in a way that I had never experienced before with large potatoes. There's a little spice to this dish, but the flavor is good. My wife had chicken enchiladas, and she loved them.

Service was a bit slow to start, but our server eventually got with the program.

Update August 2026...Came for lunch. Wife order tacos (2 chicken & 1 barbacoa) and I had Mini Chimichangas with barbacoa. The barbacoa for both of us was good. Chicken in wife's tacos was dry. The creme' sauce was poured on my Chimichangas and came with wife's tacos. This sauce was very overpowering, and it is all I could taste. Two hours later, and I can't get rid of the taste in my mouth. So, order whatever you want because the only thing you will taste is that sauce.“
