“I bet no one on Yelp has been to this place nor will they stop. The Mirror Bar is in the unincorporated town of Dacada Wisconsin. My wife's uncle who grew up in the area told us about this old tavern run by the friendly owner Nic. They went to high school together. We were on a tour of family landmarks and stopped here. We were surprised it was open since we were warned the hours were erratic. No one was in the place on a Saturday afternoon except for Nic eating lunch at the bar. We explained our relation to him and then proceeded to have a beer some chips and a long conversation with him. He is super friendly and the beer was cheap and cold (only two kinds on tap). The place is dark, with peeling paint on the ceiling and a side room that could use a garage sale. There is tons of Packer and other sports memorabilia on the walls. The Mirror Bar has seen better days but it was fun to stop in to see a rural tavern that might not be around too much longer.“
“Parking: On street parking and lot parking both free ..no over night though..usually carry out ...call before for added time saving...it's popular so keep that in mind...these folks are good people trying to give you great food and service.“
“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and there were a ton of cars in the parking lot. Walker accessible. We had pot roast grilled cheese with a side of horseradish and au jus and a Cuban sandwich- mustard spicy and delicious. Service was fast, food hot. Casual pub dining. Good dessert options, but we didn't have room. Large portions Gambling machines a plus- we will be back.“
“Great list of signature drinks. Bartender was the bar manager (Dave). He was polite and patient. He answered all our questions and made delicious drinks. They have 4 beers on tap as well as a great selection of whiskey and bourbon. The decor is subtle with the drinks being the star of the day. Daily specials board available. Food truck available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. While I'm not a smoker, you can purchase single cigarettes here if you run out. They have Hamm's on tap and a plinko game for prizes.“
“We were having a tough day after euthanizing our black cat and looking for a place to toast to Edgar.John and the customers made us feel at home and took our minds off everything. Maddie(sp?) also makes the most amazing bead bracelets - a couple were a black cat paw and a halloween bracelet which were perfect.“
“Nowhere was wonderful I’ve never seen someone give so much love to birds there’s ducks there’s turkeys there’s a big boy named baby bird I think is maybe his name he wears hats one hat is a turkey trucker in hate is a turkey cowboy he’s a butterball he’s white and very friendly. He likes to listen to the radio let’s all pool in and get him a better radio with a better station. The lights are good there’s ducks, there’s a lake you can look at the bartenders wonderful the pizza was very good and the people are very friendly. They have ouchtunes and also a bluetooth speaker that you could play things from.go for the drinks stay for the birds“
“Great friendly casual atmosphere to enjoy with family and friends. Had a mushroom Swiss burger and fries which were great. Easy to self order on sheets of paper on table and then just take the sheet up to pay when finished. A must do if your in Random Lake Area.“
