“Oh my goodness! Where to begin? We came in for fish fry and it did not disappoint. Homemade potato pancakes, hand battered cod, and freshly made cole slaw. My husband had an old fashioned, it was huge and delicious. Also had the fresh hand battered mushrooms (they were huge!) served with house made garlic aioli. We will be back to try all the hand made goodness on the menu.”

“I discovered Berres Brothers coffee last summer at my local farmers market, amidst my relentless search for a smooth and pleasant (non chemically) tasting coffee. They definitely set the bar. After tasting a large variety of their flavors, my favorite is by far the banana nut bread (I order a 5 lb bag every few weeks because it goes that fast).Additionally, when my package was lost in the mail, Berres reached out to help and continued to offer their assistance until my package arrived.”

“This evening my boyfriend and I were meandering in downtown Oconomowoc and decided to stop in Wine Maniacs for dinner. Let me tell you it was the best decision we had made all day! Our server was James who was informative and friendly! He started us off with a few sweeter wines that we showed interest in. He hit the nail on the head, we loved the Moscato he recommended. We skipped appetizers and went right to the main course. My boyfriend had the lamb lollypop and I had the House Pasta which included my favorite food pesto! The entree was delicious, my boyfriend left nothing behind. James also brought wine for our dinner to pair with our food. It was so nice the tester wine we were offered before committing to a whole glass. I appreciate how informative and friendly James was! James told us a little bit about himself like how he worked in the corporate work place before working full time at this restaurant. He truly has a passion for wine and is doing a great job! James deserves a raise! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious food and wine. I appreciated the informative servers and them being able to seat us right away without a reservation. 10/10”

“I can absolutely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Bar and Grill at Pabst Farm in Oconomowoc, WI! The food is awesome, and I would say that the burger is the best in town. The wings are fantastic, and on Mondays they are 40 cents a piece! The dry rubs and wet sauces are all specially prepared and are very good!The rest of the menu, along with the weekly specials, are all great value and prepared with fresh ingredients and care by the Garden Inn chefs, Tammy and Will.Service at the bar is great. “I often forget about the tiny gems in this town. After a morning of youth wrestling with my son. We stopped to grab and early lunch at Zwieg's Grill. Luckly they were still serving breakfast so the kids could experience the awesome pancakes. I ordered a burger and fried and was glad I did. Food and Atmosphere were great, but the service was top tier. Carol did a great job managing the dining room with our 3 antsy children, raging with excitement. I hope to return soon to try other items off the menu.Zwieg's Staff, thank you so much for the awesome dining experience. I can't wait to stop back again. They apologized (more than once) for inadequacies (which most places don't do anymore). The service was amazing. Staff listened and repeated what we ordered to make sure the order was correct if they didn't understand. The food was delicious and was uncomparable to any other location we have eaten at in years. “We stopped into this adorable place yesterday and I’m compelled to review because I think there’s a ton of potential for this little shop and want to give some feedback. First - I love the concept and vibe of this place, and the woman working there was so incredibly welcoming and lovely. Honestly, her warmth is the reason we stayed despite noticing it was an “off day” for food. When I asked a question for the chef, she mentioned that he didn’t come in that day because it was so slow (totally fair, because it was a cold, windy day mid-week), but suggestion #1 is that if anything in the grab-and-go is even a day old, the prices should be reduced. A sandwich on soggy bread and a quinoa bowl that feel very much like what I would find as “leftovers” in my fridge at home should not cost $30. Second, please ditch the plastic. I cringed to think that these foods were sitting there leaching bpa from the plastic containers. Plus, Mother Earth just doesn’t need any more single-use plastic. This great place, with their local farmers-market mission, would do much better with compostable packaging. Finally, there’s a musty smell that hits you when you walk in the door. If I were the owner, I’d like to know this, because it’s easy to get used to a smell. I’m someone who is sensitive to environmental toxins and musty, mildewy smells set off my “mold” alarm. If the building had some flooding in the past, this is worth investigating. I got a similar smell in the gift shop a couple doors down, so this may be a building issue. Again, though, I would have turned on my heel at that point, but the atmosphere and the woman working there was incredibly kind and inviting. Also, bonus points for using healthy avocado oil on your grill and the Himalayan sea salt. Just a couple of tweaks and this place will be rocking it out of the park! As it is, we plan to return in the summer!”

Favorite is steak tacos on corn tortillas.Parking: On Brown Street in Oconomowoc plenty of parking on level ground. No steps to get service or food.Kid-friendliness: In warm weather you can eat outside on picnic tables with umbrellas.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps! Roll from car up to window to order food and pick up food.”
