We did not have to wait. The restaurant was not busy. We were served the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were very good. The server seemed in a rush and did not tell us about the special. After I asked, he only said street tacos, and then he walked away. We placed our order, and the food arrived quickly. The fish tacos were not very good. The beef tacos were ok, but we have had better ones at other restaurants. El Jimador should reduce the number of menu items and concentrate on fewer offererings with better tasting food. The prices were reasonable. They do offer a cash discount. We will not be back.

I love this place! The staff are friendly and helpful. Super clean bathrooms. The food is reasonable and generous. I LOVE the burrito California!

You really can't get good Mexican food anywhere in Milwaukee, this is just so very average. I love chile rellenos, unfortunately nobody knows how to make it, and it seems like it was just sitting there forever no flavor and soggy. Very disappointing! Lots of fruit flies flying around the bathroom and the bar. Never come back!

The food and service from our waiter here are both incredible. We got the the nachos Al cabron for an appetizer and it was delicious. There was a cheese sauce on it that was incredible. We both got burritos and they were both delicious. The only negative was the $18 margarita was horrible and they refused to take it off the check even though we wouldn’t drink it..
