Foolery's on Okauchee Lake

I had a delicious (& huge) hamburger. The seasoned fries were delicious. The waitress was helpful & prompt. It was nearly empty on Sunday night (post Packer Game). The music was a bit loud, but it's basically a bar.
We would like to come back in the summer when we can sit outside.

The burgers here were phenomenal! Love being right next to the water and sammie, the bartender, has awesome energy. If we were from the area, we would definitely come back!

First time here. Came for lunch with a friend. It's on the lake and has a nice view of the water. A very large patio with plenty of seating under umbrellas. Inside is a large bar with tables for different sized groups.

Got here a little bit before noon. Got seated right away. Ordered a couple of cold beverages while checking out the menu. It took a while for our server to get back to us, which was not a problem for us (couple of retired guys), but would have been if I were in a hurry.

I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. My friend got the Chicken Wings, dry rub with Smokehouse BBQ. It didn't take too long for the food to arrive. However, the Chicken Wings weren’t dry rubbed; they had a sauce, which turned out to be the Habanero. My hamburger was excellent, medium-rare. Tthere were plenty of caramelized onions, and I loved the texture and taste of the haystack onions on top. However, the fries were lukewarm.

It took another while for our server to get back to us to check on things. Mentioned the wings to the server. She took them back to the kitchen and had the correct wings made. By the time they came back out, I was done with my meal, and he was just getting started. Never got asked about a refill on beverages, so I had to ask for some more iced tea.

The burger was good, the view is great. But the service, both at the table and in the kitchen, was disappointing. Not an experience that would have me enthusiastic about going back.

Wait time totally unacceptable, food was just alright. Restaurant was not busy on a Sunday, took 30 minutes to order, 70 minutes for food, and another 20 waiting for check

Edited: Wow—didn’t realize ordering a turkey sandwich required a dissertation on crowd control. If the bar, deck, and slips were slammed, maybe tell your staff to communicate that instead of vanishing for over an hour. And for the record, I never got the “great sandwich,” but glad you enjoyed imagining it for me. Have yourself a great day.

Waited over an hour for a turkey sandwich at 3PM on a slow Sunday. Our waitress vanished and never came back. We ended up walking out. Won’t be returning.

Sunday afternoon. Took 90min to get food after ordered.
