Last night we stopped in for a few drinks. The little blonde bartender took my order and you could tell she didn’t want to be there. When she came back with the 3 drinks I ordered (one being just a beer) she asked me-“how much is this?!?” Why would I know how much it would be? Isn’t this a bartenders job to ring it and and tell me my bill? She’s incredibly rude and disrespectful to customers. She also didn’t bring back my change as if she knew I wouldn’t tip her-she just gave me no choice. She’s bad for business!

Good craft drinks. The bar is a little small so it can be tough to catch a bartender if it’s busy.
They have added a fairly extensive bourbon collection. The price per poor is a little high on some of the allocated bottles. I believe Rip van Winkle was $25 for a half ounce pour. It’s definitely not easy to find that bottle on the shelf. And some of the shelf staples are priced a little high too. WT 101 isn’t a $10 pour 🤷🏻♂️.
They do have frozen pizzas that they can cook at the bar.

The Banana Foster Premium Old Fashioned was excellent. You could really taste all the elements in their own and they came together well.

If you're in Oconomowoc and looking for a fantastic place to enjoy cocktails and beer, look no further! This spot is hands down my favorite. Their Old Fashioned, made with Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, is simply perfection—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The bartender knows how to craft it just right every time! They also offer an incredible selection of bourbons, so whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or just starting your bourbon journey, you're sure to find something you love.
The beer tap selection is equally impressive, featuring a vast array of craft beers that cover a wide range of styles and flavors. Whether you're in the mood for a hoppy IPA, a rich stout, or something light and refreshing, they’ve got you covered. The knowledgeable staff is always happy to help with recommendations, which adds to the overall experience. Shoutout to [Staff Member's Name] for always making my visits special with their friendly service!
One thing I’d love to see is a kitchen with small appetizers to complement the drinks. However, the fact that they allow carry-in food is a great workaround. There are plenty of delicious restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab some bites to enjoy alongside your drinks.
The ambiance is clean and welcoming, with cozy seating options that make it perfect for both intimate gatherings and lively nights out. They often host live music events, which are frequent enough to keep the atmosphere vibrant and engaging. However, it can get quite loud inside when the music is playing, making it a bit challenging to have conversations, especially during peak times. If you're looking for a quieter experience, I recommend visiting earlier in the evening.
Despite the noise, we frequently bring guests here, and it never disappoints. The lively environment and excellent drink selection make it a true gem in Oconomowoc. I highly recommend checking it out for a great night out, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a casual evening with friends!

Craig, the Thursday bartender, was entertaining, friendly, and fun to talk to. His taste in music is tasteful and his drinks are EXTREMELY drinkable. I will definitely be starting a run club (what I did before grabbing a couple beers here) and brining everyone to North 48 on Thursdays to have a beer with my dear friend (and bartender) Craig. He also loves limes.

We basically came in and took over the whole place with decor while they happily played the music we wanted. I would 10/10 recommend this place for an event or for just cocktails with friends.

We had a private event here for a bridal shower and it was the perfect space! It was extremely affordable, and the bar tenders there were so nice/accommodating. We basically came in and took over the whole place with decor while they happily played the music we wanted. I would 10/10 recommend this place for an event or for just cocktails with friends.

Went out for drinks with my wife, paid for overpriced drinks, had a pizza at the bar and then you get a service fee for using your credit card. Mark the drinks up more so people don’t see your fee. NEVER going to your bar again for the principal of your fee that was not told about. Not a good look.
