Excellent coffee. They serve Anodyne. And you will not get coffee just barely hot. No, you will get HOT coffee that will stay hot for an hour! The place was very clean. Really cool oil paintings on the wall. Whomever decorated this place, has good taste. Well, except for the Ryan Braun jersey hanging by the fireplace 😒.

This is a wonderful coffee shop in Downtown Oconomowoc that serves some of the best coffee, sandwiches, and has the best staff around. The owners are super friendly and make every experience wonderful!! Highly recommend checking them out :)

Fantastic coffee at a fair price. The place is very inviting and has a great styling inside. I went here as a meet-up with my co-workers on our trip, and it was great. Seriously, I got the dirty chai, and it was fantastic, perfect temperature, fantastic taste, and very timely. We decided to scratch our other plans and come earlier just to enjoy the drinks. Please give this place a thought, it is worth the stop.

We always make it a point to stop by this wonderful establishment whenever we are in town. Super friendly staff, inviting atmosphere and most importantly great coffee. Not to be missed!

Excellent place to hangout and chat or hunker down to get work done. This is my go to meeting spot to get together with friends here in town. The baristas are always very kind and welcoming and the place always has excellent vibes. I especially like the small coffee cup mosaic over the fireplace, it’s a nice touch!

Parking: There is a massive parking lot out back, it is the go-to parking lot for most of the town though, so it might be kind of hard to find parking super close to roots itself. Worse comes to worst, you have a 2-3 minute walk along Fowler Lake (which is such a tragedy *sarcasm*)

Have food that is good and they make very good espresso drinks. Dirty chai is my favorite.

Root’s is my favorite coffee shop In Oconomowoc, I
love all of their personal touches and the atmosphere! I usually just get a black iced coffee with some cream but even then the flavor of the coffee is great. The food is fun, great tasting and the friendly staff makes it super inviting. I would maybe just say I would like to see more seating- somehow… But if you are looking for coffee, breakfast, lunch or just a place to do some work-Root’s is the place to be!

The breakfast panini was a little weak, but I enjoyed the bagels. Service was fine and fairly quick, the air conditioning was cranked and I found it to be rather cold in there.

My $12 sandwich had about 2 thin slices of turkey, then loaded with tomato and cucumber. A half piece of cheese for the entire sandwich. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and relaxing, but I wouldn't bother ordering food.
