Bartender blasting club music so loud a 5pm can't even talk. Sat for 20min waiting for a server or Bartender and not even acknowledge we were there. Too busy talking to their friends. Absolute

We've ordered take-out from here more times than I can count, and the food was always great. We decided to go out on a Friday night and eat there with a friend. The food was even better in person! Dare I say, even better than if I were at a restaurant. It was a Friday night, so the bar was pretty busy. The guy that took our order was also running the bar. And I have to say, for someone who was running around all night doing 12 tasks at the same time, he was so awesome! Always had a smile on his face and never forgot we were there. This definitely isn't a family-style atmosphere, it's a bar/restaurant. With that said, our 9 month old didn't mind, nor did we. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. There was even another toddler there too! I was iffy on eating here since I heard stories of the old Hideaway, but things have definitely changed for the better and we will 100% continue going here. Don't tell our friends at Foolery's, but I think the food here is better. Hideaway is probably our favorite place for food in Okauchee.

We hosted a retirement party at Hideaway Bar and Grill and it was wonderful! Alexis was incredible to work with throughout planning, and the staff was very attentive to our group the day of. We heard nothing but great things about the food and staff from our party!

Have always loved the Hideaway for a couple decades. Today was the worst lunch service ever. While it was a Monday, and the server was pleasant, she basically avoided our table almost the whole 2 hours it took to just get a sandwich. We sat for at least 20-25 min and never got our drinks. I went inside to get them. Then I got my own waters. My friend went to the bar to get her own 2nd drink. A food runner brought our appetizer before our drinks. It was over an hour before the server even took our lunch order. I got up and found silverware for us and got my own to go container. I used to be a server so I have patience and understanding. And still tipped her 20% even though the only thing she did was take our order and bring out avocado that was forgotten, after we asked twice. I did all the serving. Won't go back there for lunch. Hire more servers or have others help.

Lake was cool. Food was horrible not only for me but the rest of my family. Waitress was very kind and did the best she could but they obviously didn’t have enough staff to wait on customers. If you want to only drink I’d say that this would be a good spot for you but everything else made it not worth the visit.
