We came to see one of our favorite bands play, and right off the bat felt like the vibe of the bar did not match what they promote online. I'm a cocktail drinker and was surprised they did not have any sort of drink menu to offer. All drinks looked to be served in plastic cups, and my husband was a little disappointed that the only tap beers they had were Busch and PBR. But the weirdest thing was the quality of the sound. It seems like this place touts themselves as being big on live music, but how could they when the place is so LOUD? There weren't that many people in the bar while we were there, and yet the volume of people talking was so high you could barely hear the band play. We guessed it's due to the acoustics; everything is hard surfaces (concrete/brick/plaster) so the sound just bounces all over the place. If they want to continue hosting live music, they could *really* benefit from some sound-dampening measures.

If y'all haven't been here in a while. Try it out again! They've remodeled and it is much more open. Nice selection of liquor and beer. The staff is nice and welcoming. They do music pretty regularly. They also don't usually blare the music too loud (unless someone dominates the music).
