“Stopped here for lunch and to watch NCAA tourny basketball. Although very busy, we got a table quickly. Waitress was very attentive and brought our drinks quickly. We ordered a variety of items. They do offer lunch specials. I had a cheeseburger which is two patties so it's fairly large. One other had the chips & salsa; very good. Another had a chicken wrap; said it was very tasty. Waitress checked back often to see how our food was and to check on refills. All in all, a good place.“

“So I grew up, and lived most of my life in Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area, and I recently relocated to La Crosse. I was pretty sure I was not going to be able to find genuine Chicago Tavern Style thin crust pizza here-I was wrong!!

South Lanes pizza is true Chicago style thin crust pizza (cut into squares, as pizza should be)-perfect crispy crust, the right amount good cheese and nice sauce going almost to the edge of the pie. The Italian sausage has incredible taste.

I hate to admit this, but South Lanes pizza is pretty much as good as anything you'd find in Chicago.
Now, as a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, I'm not going to be rooting for the Packers (or Vikings) anytime soon, but it's nice to know you can get great Chicago style thin crust pizza in Wisconsin!“

Not only did Alex introduce himself to us, he introduced himself so every customer that he helped! Both bartenders were sober, and I didn’t see any other staff taking up seating room at the bar. I’m convinced one of them knew my childhood memories better than I do. But beyond the drinks, Isaac possesses that rare, almost mythical quality: he makes everyone feel like they are the main character. The bar could be packed, chaos swirling like a poorly made martini (which Isaac would never allow, obviously), and yet somehow, when he speaks to you, it feels like the entire world has politely stepped aside. I went in for a drink. I left with a renewed sense of purpose, a mild existential awakening, and the firm belief that if Isaac ever decided to run for any form of leadership—local, national, or galactic—I would follow without hesitation. Five stars feels insufficient. Five stars is what you give a decent sandwich. Isaac deserves constellations. He deserves entire galaxies carefully arranged in his honor. If you have not yet experienced Isaac at Brothers, I urge you—no, I implore you—correct this immediately. Your future self will thank you. Your taste buds will write poetry about it. And somewhere, somehow, Isaac will already know what you’re going to order.
