We went into this cafe while we were waiting for DoorDash orders to kick in, and we saw the reviews were really good, so we decided to stop in. First off, it was nearly 30 dollars for a small slice of quiche, a donut, and 2 coffees. Which I guess is normal nowadays, but for the quality of everything it’s honestly diabolical. If the barista wasn’t rude enough, the latte my boyfriend ordered tasted like plaque. The cafe itself is beautiful, but this place definitely needs to be taken down a peg, because it does not deserve 4.8 stars, as that is incredibly misleading.

There's a huge variety of treats and drinks to choose from, which is something I value in a cafè. The employees were polite, nice, and answered any questions I had. I got an iced latte and a day old scone, which was half off and still very good (especially after tossing it in the microwave for a few seconds!). My only qualms was that the live music was, while nice, right next to the ordering stand. This could make it hard to hear at moments, in my opinion. Also, I felt a little awkward about where to stand and wait for my order haha. There are lots of seating options, but it does make the ordering area feel a little cramped.
All in all, the food and drink were good, the prices were average/good, and my only issue was with the noise level.

My favorite small buisness in Oregon. The owner Elizabeth is one of the kindest humans I've ever met and I feel safe every second I'm in this building. Sometimes ill go to study, write, or work on personal projects. A lot of people only leave reviews if they're negative so putting this here so more people know how awesome this buisness is and hopefully promotes it to more people <3
I LOVE Kickback cafe! Their baked goods are top-notch, and they have a wide variety of treats and drinks - including old favorites (lattes, teas, etc) and new varieties (flavored lemonades, boba tea, and more!)
Truly worth 5 stars, I love the vibe and atmosphere of the café. There's so much to see in here and all the different artists they have on the walls is great to see, especially if they are local which most are. I also love the food, there is a good amount of variety in drinks which gives something new to try each time. Staff is very friendly and patient when I needed a moment to figure out an order and I apperciated that. Thank you Kickback Cafe !
