This place is just pretending to be Italian food. The caesar salad was simply romaine lettuce with two small pieces of dried bread on top. You can get a better salad from the Kwik Trip next door. My son ordered the salmon and it was completely burnt black on the underside. His side of broccoli was mushy. When we pointed it out to the waitress, her response was simply “sorry about that.” I ordered the Wednesday “special” that was supposed to be homemade sausage over penne. The overcooked pasta was covered in a thin flavorless red sauce with a brat placed on top. We ordered tiramasu to go. So, the disappointment continued back home: the top half of the dessert was just whipped cream and not even fresh. The bottom half was soggy and flavorless. Worst tiramisu I have ever had. We ended up throwing it away. They have half a dozen tables and we were the third sat at 5:20 pm. We didn’t get out of the restaurant until 7:00 pm. They seemed busy with take out orders for pizza. Maybe they should just stick to pizza because this was by far the worst restaurant experience I have encountered in Oregon from service to food. You can get better food from the Hyvee Deli, Culvers, or Kwik Trip. Highly do NOT recommend.
They no longer deliver, ok but when I arrived for my pick up order, its was twenty mins later than they told me. Then when I got home 2 of the 3 pizza’s were made incorrectly. After waiting an hour and getting home to eat with hungry teenage boys at home - there was no way I was driving back or waiting again for my dinner. I called to discuss this with them and there was no apology. I told them I didn’t want to drive there again and they told me that they don’t do refunds but would make the pizza again and that was my only option. I was just going to suggest they give me a partial credit on my account for next order but the guy was short and made it clear that they weren’t doing anything else and basically sounded like he could care less. To make it even worse, the tips on the machine START at 18% and I wasn’t going to do custom because then I look rude and it was busy in there- So almost $8.00 tip for a $42.00 pick up order that was twenty mins late and 75% of my order was wrong. Never ordering from there again.
The best food you can get in Wisconsin recommend the pull apart breadsticks and also the Joseph’s berry flute
I’m going to start with the good. Lobster ravioli was great. The meat sauce on the tortellini was good. The wine was good and at a good price. The bread was warm. Now the bad. The service was poor. They sat us at our reservation time, but were so focused on takeout pizza, we did not get attention or water for 15 minutes. House salad was all lettuce and few bits of vegetables. When entrees were served, we were asked if we would be needing boxes and if we were going to order dessert. Tortellini meat filling was tasteless and appeared not to be made on site and not tossed in the sauce. Crème brûlée was half cold and half warm and the custard was broken. The cannolo shell was crisp but the filling had 4 chocolate chips and no pistachios. I have been to this restaurant at least 6 times and the best description would be wild inconsistency. My advice is order the lobster ravioli or go to the Olive Garden.
From pastas to pizza to salads
The food is great!
Small town comfort despite the growing pressure around it. The cooks still walk pies out from the back warming on the oven as opposed to some chain that leaves it cold on the shelf. They cater to the cute old locals for early dinner. Despite an influx of rich grumps from California and Texas or wherever else this place remains relaxed and delicious for affordable pizza. Judging by the regular grey hairs early in the evening I would wager taking a date here wouldn't be a miss for flavor. Glad the shop has remained in operation despite the patriarch passing away.
Amazing little authentic Italian restaurant in the tiny Town of Oregon. They also have a small grocery store next door. Check the hours because they are a bit limited.
Small quaint atmosphere. Good food. Don't be in a hurry. It's all made to order.
Great gluten free pizza
After waiting over 2 hours and fifteen minutes for dishes I could only describe as extremely tiny. We had checked previous reviews. Before deciding… We saw photos of the food others had experienced and were shocked by the comparison. It appears the consistency of their dishes and efficiency of their kitchen are certainly not their top priorities. One chicken fettuccine alfredo with runny sauce. With thin sliced and flattened chicken. One shrimp gluten-free, fettuccine alfredo, with five tiny shrimp had thick sauce. Which was made with gluten-free spaghetti noodles. It was also painfully clear they were entirely focused on take out orders, instead of those six tables dining in. Two dishes and two waters, cost us $ 54….Terrible first experience. Will Not be returning.

I had read the reviews beforehand, so was expecting to have a slow, leisurely dinner, and that's just what we had. We ordered the Chevre and Artichoke appetizer and glasses of wine and enjoyed our conversation while waiting for our pizza and pasta. The food does come out of the kitchen slowly, but the crust on the pizza was cooked perfectly, and the food was delicious. This is not a fast food place, but a place to actually savor your meal. The waitress was super friendly and we had a great time. Would go back if we were in the area again.

The meatballs/sauce are so deliciously tender. The perfectly seasoned lasagna w/warm bread is true comfort food. Thank you, Cathy and staff, for a relaxing and wonderful evening.
