“I have been to Knute's before and know the food is really good, so when I happened across the name when I was planning a catered Thanksgiving meal for my work in Monroe, I thought I'd give them a call and just check if it was something they do. Well, they do. And they do it incredibly well. It was for about 100 people total, but needed to be served hot for three different shifts. They were just fantastic to work with on coordinating the meal and when the day came, the service and set up was completely seamless and totally hands off for me (which was a first!) and the food was just stellar. I HIGHLY recommend them for any catering needs, or if you are in their neighborhood and need a bite to eat!”

“Wish I would have gotten pictures! Ordered the Ruben and was not disappointed! Perfectly toasted thick marble rye, real corned beef piled on and the 1000 served on the side.
The broasted potato were crisp and tender on the inside, the mac and cheese was tasty. The broasted pork chop was moist, tender and delicious.
Prices are extremely reasonable!

“We love the Country Lane Bakery and stop in frequently when heading down to our conservation property south of Brodhead. The donuts are scrumptious and a great treat, only being available on Saturdays! We also enjoy the handpies, especially the black raspberry and the assortment of breads. Our two favorites are the bacon/cheddar bread and the apple bread. We haven't yet, but plan to, sample their pizzas as well. Prices are very reasonable and the goods are delicious!”

“So, I’ve been here for breakfast which was very good, the duck butt muffins are excellent. This time did the very uniquely midwestern thing, and went for pizza at the farm. Best pizza in Beloit. It’s only available once a month, check their facebook page, and only during the summer months, but so worth it.”

“My wife and I heard about willowdale through a friend and thought we give them a try for their Friday fish fry. We arrived earlier than their dinner serving hours and settled at the bar for an Old Fashioned which was excellent. We ordered our dinner at the bar and transferred to a table until the dinner service began. Our order easily followed to our table and was served by very friendly staff. We both ordered the beer batter cod with au gratin potatoes; the best of both we have had in quite some time. We had a fantastic experience; will definitely go again, and would recommend this Friday fare to anyone.”

My husband who doesn't have much of a sweet tooth was going on and on about how great they were. “If you havent tried Fatboyz, now is the time. This place has gone through several ownerships over the years but the pizza is over-the-top delicious now. Owner gets his hands dirty making the pies himself which I respect. Its a local business in a finicky community where it can be really hard to make it. I hope Fatboyz is here for years to come and continues to be successful. They deserve your support. They have mine. Its gotta be tough being a pizza place across the street from a pizza place but in my opinion its like having a Ben n Jerry's across the street from a Blue Bunny. Same product but no real comparison. Fatboyz wins hands down.”

“I work 2nd shift in town. I never get my lunch at the same time. I almost every time walk in to this Subway about 10 or less minutes before close. The night employees are always absolutely welcoming and kind with a huge smile an they enjoy chatting. Not what you would get at most food establishments at almost close time. “It's McDonalds. I've been eating double cheeseburgers for over 50 years. I remember the invention of the BigMac and the replacement of the double cheeseburger with the quarter pounder with cheese. Fries? Still one of the best if they're HOT.
Consistent? No matter where you go in the country, you can expect the same all beef double stack (held together with 2 slices of melted american cheese), fried onions, mustard and ketchup on a toasted bun. Throw in an order of fries (make sure they’re right out of the frier) and a frozen coke and I'm one happy camper.”
