A.nice place to stop for lunch and pick up a sandwich. They offer several different sandwiches and wraps, or you can build your own. They also have smoothies, shakes & malts, prepared salads and pasta salads, frozen meats and pizzas. Cookies and bread from local businesses.

Adorable shop in the heart of Orfordville! Huge variety of local produce and treats with quality products and ingredients. Great service and wide variety of menu items. The ham and apple sandwich is to die for. We enjoyed soft serve today and it was wonderful. Highly recommend!!

Personally, I’m a fan of new businesses reinventing old spaces - Food Is FUEL is in a former gas station/garage! It’s spiffy! The vibe is retro, country cool with a hint of modern because of the coffee, smoothie, and sandwich selections. The bullet coffee is so smooth and buttery! I’m a farmer’s daughter so the locally sourced beef and pork in the freezer, cheeses in the fridge, and jams on the shelf are IRRESISTIBLE! Drive up or walk in - either way, get on over to FOOD IS FUEL!

My family visits here often in the summer for yummy treats, but when I went today to take down a flyer to my own event I was rudely approached by the owner with a mumble of “I’ll take down my own stuff, thanks” It could have been handled better, I was just trying to help as my event was over. I don’t do well with rude customer service. Will affect the business I do there.

the food is usually amazing but tonight the customer service was awful, forgot my avocado, my two drinks, didn’t toast my sandwich and put the wrong stuff on it. very irritating
