I have been to Knute's before and know the food is really good, so when I happened across the name when I was planning a catered Thanksgiving meal for my work in Monroe, I thought I'd give them a call and just check if it was something they do. Well, they do. And they do it incredibly well. It was for about 100 people total, but needed to be served hot for three different shifts. They were just fantastic to work with on coordinating the meal and when the day came, the service and set up was completely seamless and totally hands off for me (which was a first!) and the food was just stellar. I HIGHLY recommend them for any catering needs, or if you are in their neighborhood and need a bite to eat!

We came for the fish fry, have never been here before. Service was top notch, food was good and you get a ton of it! The only thing I didn't care for was the coleslaw. We ordered the onion straws, and it was enough for five or six people, and that was the smallest order! Fish was good and not over breaded.

I'm not from the area but stopped in because I had to wait for something. The Sunday morning free basket of chicken wings or fish was fantastic. I had the fish. I had the prime rib sandwich and it was outstanding. The fries that came with it were crunchy and soft all at the same time. All of the food was hot. The staff were nice and helpful, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend the prime rib sandwich!

Well 3rd time here due to local. 1st time meal came 20 min after everyone else. They missed cooking it. 2nd time stopped in to have a drink ( Brandy old fashion ). The served it in 16 oz water glass and was watered down with soda. 3 rd time stopped in for Monday Special posted on there website $6.00 hamburger basket. Got there it is $8.00??? Had ham and bean soup. Bottom of the pot did not even fill bowl watched waitress scraped the burnt out of the bottom of the pot. And She tried serving it to me. WOW! She was the same stupid waitress that made my drink on 2 nd visit. But the worst think is they don't come back unless you stop a waitress and your original waitress disappears. Never brought a bill. After waiting 10 min. And they weren't that busy. Never said thank you after paying! Owner should fire some of his or her waitresses.
I ordered the bacon burger and no where on the menu did it say it comes with a pretzel bun. One of the waitresses said that you have to ask for a normal bun. But yet I’ve came here once before and had a normal bun without asking. But when I got my burger that I asked for medium well it was well done. The person with me had ordered medium rare and received a medium. Overall a great place, good food and great service just a few tweaks I would make.
