The food is great and a lot of it. It would be nice to see some vegetarian things included. It's time to update the taxidermy and pelts, which I understand are part of the north woods theme, but I think you could still pull off a refresh.

We were shocked by both the portion sizes and the price in the best way. We got so much food probably half of it went home with us in Togo containers. We expected the bill to be around $80-90 considering we got entrees and drinks but it came out to around $60ish. The food and drinks were delicious, our server was great, and it was a wonderful place to grab dinner overall.

Went there Saturday afternoon,.ordered a Reuben. The marble bread was drenched in butter and it had zero 1000 island dressing (like a normal reuben should have). So much butter gave me an all night stomach ache. No butter necessary! Disappointed

Got to restaurant and waited forty five minutes had no beverages and no service. Had to find someone to bring us water. Finally got our drinks after asking twice. I ordered a Pepsi and was given a liquor drink but I don't drink. Worst service I have ever had!!! We ended up leaving without ordering.

At 1 in the afternoon, I had the ribeye with greenbeans, potato and salad. I didn't have to add any seasoning to the steak. Everything was absolutely phenomenal, mouthwatering. They support our military!!!

Talk about slow, food came out intermittently with a 30 minutes in between the 4 of the 5 adult meals and 3 of the 4 kids meals and an adult meal. The adults food was first which was mind boggling when the kids meal were cheese burgers and fries. Then the 4th kid meal came out 1.5 hours after we sat down. An utter disaster. The waitress did her best but I guess the kitchen needs some work.
We had lunch here today, it was not busy but the service and food was very slow to come out. We both had hamburger and fries so it should not have been difficult, maybe it was just an off day for them?

I like their food here, the variety they offer, and that they frequently post specials and items. Bloody bar is pretty decent! I've noticed there can be a decent variance in quality of the food. They no longer have steak tacos, which is a bummer, but they have carnitas tacos now. They were excellent the last time I had them in July. They were maybe a 2/5 when I had them 2 weeks ago. It was a bit of a bummer. It's been a long time since I've had them but had loved their ahi tuna meal and their wonton tacos. Their quesadilla and the Mexican style chicken (blanking on the name) is generally pretty good. The chicken wild rice is good but I wish it had less large mushroom chunks. They have or had a fiesta chicken soup that I love. One thing I won't eat is their wings. I'm not a big fan of the full wing style wings 🤷♀️ Overall, I'd recommend it. Creative drink and dessert menus, nice patio. Lots of seating.
