“This bar is a hidden gem. Very spacious and reasonably priced drinks. Bartenders were just so sweet and very welcoming. I may or may not have had one too many and left without my hoodie. When I realized this, I had a very cute interaction with the guys there. They hung it behind the bar to ensure it was available for me when I came back for it. 10/10!!!!“

“Don't order any food it's all freezer burned. Unless they changed the menu, stay away from the pizza and ask the staff if it's OK to eat there. THE BARTENDERS WERE EXCEPTIONAL. Anticipated beverage distribution ahead of the customer emptying the one in front of them. Funny and fun people to be around. The appeal for regulars to stop in each week and for new customers to stay for a couple is easy to understand here.“

“Partial to Patty melts and theirs did not disappoint. Good bread, grilled in butter, not some nasty oil. Plenty of cheese and a good beef patty. Service was timely and friendly. Had cottage cheese as my side and only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is it was not cold, not warm but cold. I also liked the atmosphere with lots of sports on the many tv’s.“

“I have heard rave reviews of Cooligans pizza and had to stop in and try one. I ordered for takeout, so the cook asked me how done I wanted it. My plan was to reheat it on my grill, so they baked it to order and left it uncut. I thought that their crust was light and crispy, the sauce was not overpowering, and the toppings were generous (especially the cheese). The pizza would have also been a lot better with fresh mushrooms. I also tried the sauerkraut chili but wasn't impressed. It tasted like any other Midwestern chili. I would recommend stopping in if ever in the area.“

“Got a chance to shoot league darts here. VERY good dart area, no cross traffic with good lighting. Bartender (older lady) was very friendly and even gave our team a free drink and was supportive even though we were the visiting team. Quiet bar with old school neighborhood vibes. Clean and neat bathroom as well.“

“I love a good dive bar, and this is one!!! From younger college students to older regulars, all get along. This is one bar that was hit hard by the pandemic, but Nick the bartender is great and hopefully they will soon be back to pre-pandemic crowds! Cold beer and lots of drink specials during the week.“

“We loved Peabody's! Brought many friends and family of all ages for a weekend wedding in Oshkosh. The outside patio provided the perfect space for everyone, with the fire tables, swings, bags games, and picnic tables. The staff took great care of us, and good times were had by all!“

“Came to this place in 1993, had the best time on my trip of the USA from Australia, took me ages to find my hotel the Pioneer inn, got stuck at the rail crossing with some long train a thought I was never gonna get back to the hotel until the sun came up. Good memories.“

“What an awesome little stage venue/bar. I didn't eat so don't know about food, but atmosphere and service was fantastic. I've played tons of venues in the Midwest, this one could end up being a favorite. Sound guy/owner was awesome and knew what he was doing. Overall, it was a good experience.“
“I planned a wedding at the Algoma Club back in October and it turned out beautiful! .. Thanks to the professionals and their rental items, we were able to pull off a vintage looking theme that already went along with the vintage look of the club. I highly recommend catering your food right through Manila (located on the first floor). I am a wedding planner, so I have seen a lot of dinners and this meal could have come from a 4 diamond resort .. SO good! And the buffet line went very fast since they opened multiple lines. Not all caterers do this, so it was much appreciated. Jesse, the manager who I worked with, was so nice & very accommodating even when I was being "needy." The space could look a little dark and dingy from a site visit, but it can definitely be dolled up - I highly recommend the Algoma Club, conveniently located downtown Oshkosh.“

“We had a really large group of family members (about 20 people total including adults & kids) to celebrate my dad's 89th Birthday on Wed Nov 20th, 2024. We had a reservation for 5pm & when we arrived, they had our table all setup & ready for us. Our Waitress (Amelia) was at our table immediately with a big smile & a very warm & friendly welcome. Our Waitress (Amelia) was an absolutely FANTASTIC Waitress, one of the best that we've dealt with in many years! As we were all getting settled in, we had a few surprise visitors that joined my dad's birthday celebration. Our waitress (Amelia) was right on top of everything & she immediately added another table to make sure that everyone was comfortable while eating their meal & didn't feel like you were being crammed in like sardines while eating. In addition to that, Amelia went out of her way to accommodate my dad by making sure that he felt extra "special" while celebrating this 89th Birthday of his. She got him a "special" cocktail (yes, a bit of a boozy one, which he really liked) in addition to a Root Beer Float to enjoy after he had enjoyed his Birthday meal. I was watching my dad with that Root Beer Float & he was thoroughly enjoying that! All the adults in our group ended up getting the All You Can Eat Fish Fry for $9.99 per person (or maybe it was even less than that, I'm not sure, because someone in our group paid for everyone's meal!). OMG it was absolutely amazing ~ everything was very FRESH & HOT. The Seasoned French Fries were delicious, and the Tatter Tots were the bomb! We had the BEST TIME EVER thanks to our amazing Waitress (Amelia) who went out of her way to make sure that EVERYONE in our group was taken care of. She was so much fun; she has a great sense of humor, and she fit right in with our "wild n crazy" family! By the time we left that evening we were saying that our Waitress (Amelia) was "Our Sister from another Mister" & we asked her if she was going to join all of us for Thanksgiving!! Thanks again for making my dad's 89th Birthday so "special" for him. I think he felt like a BIRTHDAY KING for the night!!“

“My wife and I are waiting for others to arrive, we go to the bar and the nicest couple moved down to open a second seat.
The waiter was great, food came out hot and as we ordered it. Highly recommend, sad i only got to eat there once. Definitely going back!“
