This place is truly one of a kind! The food is spectacular and delicious. Thor and Catie (along with their staff) did an incredible job of turning the Dipper into the place to be. The food is always delicious no matter what you order, drinks are always cold, and they do an incredible job in everything they do.
We've owned a place on Pike Lake for 8 years now and The Big Dipper is hands down our favorite place to go eat! Thor and Catie are genuine, hardworking people who care deeply about their community. The atmosphere is true Northern Wisconsin Tavern with an excellent menu and generous portions. The Big Dipper is usually busy so plan accordingly, but it is definitely worth the wait. 5 Stars!
Absolutely the best bar and Grill in Northern Wisconsin. Homemade food, live music, and most importantly, part of the community. Be patient with the staff! Leave the city life behind. Everything moves slower in the Northwoods!!!
