We've just returned from our stay and I can't say enough good things about this resort! I've seen the other reviews and I find them quite puzzling because they are so vastly different than our experience. From the time we arrived to our departure, the staff was amazing. I have no complaints at all. My family was planning a family reunion for August 8-10 this year. We had 5 rooms reserved, had confirmation numbers and also has called a couple weeks ago to confirm via telephone. When we called again this past Friday and were told we didn’t have rooms, that there was a problem with the reservation system. We were not offered any options nor giving any sort of compensation.
Purchased a group golf package. A nights stay with unlimited golf. I called ahead to reserve room and tee times. Was told to reserve online. (by Marita) So I did.
However, my credit card was charged and it was/is a fight to get credited for what should not have cost me anything.
Colin at the front desk was not only unhelpful but rude. Not only with myself, when others asked for simple things as in, is there coffee, or where is the breakfast room. Seemed to not want to...read full review
