Small town diner with good food and friendly service. I ate there for the first time 26 years ago. I had a haystack. Today I had a haystack; eggs over-easy and rye toast. Just as good as the first one!

My husband and I are in town for a wedding and looking for a quick bite. We drove by a few places and decided on Bonnie's. My husband ordered the Hot Meatloaf sandwich and I got the Chicken Cordon Bleu with salad. Yummy food, great prices, amazing service. We even grabbed a couple kolaches on the way out ?

Whenever we come to Phillips, we have lunch at Bonnie's Diner. (Two of us are from the Chicago area and two from Rhinelander).

Corned beef hash was cooked in a patty with a nice crisp outside and soft inside. The chicken fried steak had a tasty breading, not soggy, well seasoned. Great dumplings in the chicken dumpling soup (I like 'em firm), although a bit light on the actual chicken.

Good coffee and they leave an urn at your table, so plenty of it.

Friendly and attentive service and homey diner atmosphere. Great ola

We stopped about 1/2 hour before closing time, and ordered the special. So it was delivered to us quickly enough, but the waitress sat there and stared at us the entire time we ate, apparently wanting us to go so she could start cleaning up and close. Not a fun dining experience and reason enough not to go back again.
