We stopped about 1/2 hour before closing time, and ordered the special. So it was delivered to us quickly enough, but the waitress sat there and stared at us the entire time we ate, apparently wanting us to go so she could start cleaning up and close. Not a fun dining experience and reason enough not to go back again.

This diner is the best breakfast option in Philips, the food tastes great and is fairly priced. I spent about 12 dollars including tip for a healthy serving of hashbrowns, 2 eggs, a good amount of bacon, and some toast. I went about 8:45 on a weekday and we had no wait for 6 people. Overall, this is a spectacular place, and I hope to return when I am in Philips again.

My wife and I stopped in here on our road trip out west, what a wonderful little place to get some coffee and have some good conversation.

This sort of diner is becoming difficult to find. Excellent home made meals (Swiss steak and chicken dumpling soup), with pie (also home made) for dessert. Seriously. Delicious and very reasonably priced. I will ALWAYS stop here when driving through Phillips. The waitress was friendly and attentive. It reminded me of coming home from college to a home cooked meal. Loved it!

Honest old-fashioned diner. Great food. I had a cheeseburger and soup. The service was prompt and friendly. Friendly atmosphere. As you enter downtown from the south they're on the left across from three convenience stations.Kid-friendliness: Seemed very kid-friendly. A child was playing with her mom when I entered and both were having a good time.Parking: On-street parking on the south edge of downtown. Cross streets nearby. No problem finding a spot.
