I should have known that on a Tuesday night they wouldn't batter their own cod. I did order the fried cod though and it was basically the same frozen Gordon's fish you can get in the store. It wasn't bad but nothing special. However the salad was surprisingly good and tasty. Also, the fries were GREAT!!! The service was good as always, being friendly and observant to our needs/wants.

Tough to beat their four piece chicken dinner and there's always some regulars there talking about what's going on with them. Not a fancy place, but it's clean with good service and home made food that comes out hot and for a very reasonable price. We go to this restaurant at least once every time we're in town.

They did an awesome job catering for my dad's funeral service for 40 people - the food was great, on time, and they even did a special request for me when they originally advised me they may not have time to do it on the weekend. There was plenty of food and I was able to bring home leftovers!

Staff is friendly and service is quick. The atmosphere has a very “at home” type of feeling. We have enjoyed many things on the menu. Our favorites are the logger omelet with hash browns, steak and egg breakfast, the shrimp dinner and chili. The veggies and always fresh.

Amazing food, staff, and affordability in a diner-like setting. Highly recommend if you are in the area. The staff is also very in-tune with how to deal with allergies which is much appreciated.
