Owner hangs out behind bar..doesn't pay attension been always drunk talking to exclusively College Platt boys...spent over 100 dollars on machines...couple College guys played in between me playing and cashed out 1o cents...put a few bucks in 15 minutes later and never registered my deposit....told owner...drunk and doesn't listen said he be back to square me up and never came back...outside alking with young men again...tracked him down and decided to give me only dollar ten cents when he owed more....got very conversational ..only payed attention and wasn't so drunk....my gfvand I spent over 150 dollars and got treated very poorly.....That wascthec3rdxand last time ever going in.....each time he's been there he props the men's bathroom where u can see the urinals being behind the bar...I closed them and he always opens them back uo...always stands where he can get a peek....

This has been my go to bar since I moved to platteville 9 years ago and have been able to drink. Darts, pool, drinks and music. Fun and friendly staff. They have some fun drinks also!

I feel really bad rating this bar so low especially when there are like 7 bars on the "strip" in Platteville. But honesty is necessary. What I did like about Players was that there was plenty of seating, pool tables, and a long bar. What I didn't like.... the music was absolutely horrible, the bathrooms were very gross, they offered free drinks and they literally tasted like plastic. I don't know how it's possible...but it happened. Also for attempting to be a "dance club" the floor is tiny with one little lonely pole in the far corner. SO it was incredibly awkward when no one was on the dance floor because everyone was trying to somehow fit on the pole... just overall not a great experience.
