This is such a unique, welcoming space. The specialty drinks, and charcuterie are absolute fire. If you're looking for something elevated, and a bit more mature than the college bars, this is it. 100/10 Highly recommend.
I visited the soft opening for The Black Smock today and loved every single item I ordered.
Mushroom quiche - out of this world. Fluffy, and moist with a buttery crust.
Club sandwhich and side salad - so much flavor. The bread was like nothing I have ever had before and I was told it was handmade. The sauce and dressing on the salad complimented each other so well and the fresh fruit on the side was refreshing!

This bar was such a refreshing addition to the Platteville community. It's a great option to get away from the college bar scene. The drinks are fantastic. The servers have always been knowledgeable and friendly. We love coming here!
