Freshman and Sophomore students are required under contract to pick a meal plan.
200 meals plus $100 dining dollars is $1,690?? This comes to $7.95 a meal ((1690 - 100) / 200). If a student were to go to a retail location and get a $6 breakfast, he would be charged a meal, given a "cash equivalency" of $3.75 and use $2.14 in dining dollars ($2.75 - 5%). Breakfast now costs $10.09
If a student picks the 150 meal plan, this same breakfast now costs the student $11.27.
